The service here is awful. I would not recommend going here due to how unprofessional they are.
We just went through the drive-thru. It was pouring rain, no one responded from the telecom and my husband was getting wet. We decided to pull up and order. There was no one before us or behind us.
There was confusion from the girl at the drive-thru register. She didn't seem to get out order right (asked for M&Ms and she repeated back Reese's) . Maybe she couldn't hear us because it was raining? We had not even given the whole order yet or submitted it.
All of a sudden, a guy comes up with the first item on the order. He gets upset and yells at us, " y'all don't want this? Even though I already made it"
We responded, " that the correct item, we want that."
At the same time we responded, the girl at the register said," well, they keep changing their minds!" We were really taken back by this.
We responded by letting her know we were not changing our minds but the order is being taken wrong.
Both interactions were so unprofessional. We decided to not pursue the rest of the order and pay for the item that was already mare for our daughter and leave.

Read more1 November 2022: I don’t usually leave comments about a person, service, or company, but today’s interaction deserves some attention. I was on my way home and decided to stop at this location for one of my favorite treats. I pulled up to the drive through at 12:55pm (they open at 1:00pm). At 1:00pm, there was no one to greet me on the speaker, so after I said “hello” a few times, I decided to drive up to the window. The employee opened the window and had the most disgusted look on her face apparently because I didn’t wait for her to take my order at the speaker. She was visibly irritated and had an attitude. I kept my conversation very short to none in order to stay professional. The employee was a older black female (I did not see a name tape) and appeared to be the only employee in the shop at that time. Here’s my issue, if the shop opens at 1:00pm, and my iPhone shows 1:00pm, and you don’t greet me or say anything to me, I’m going to pull up to the window to ascertain the status. Also, when you greet a customer, try doing it professionally and with a smile (always). I’ll continue to frequent Twistee Treat, but this employee either needs more customer service training or needs...

I understand they were slammed busy as it was Saturday night but not one person acknowledged we were there, just looked at us thru the window. We say a girl drop a cones on the floor and pick them back up and put them on the counter. We still decided to wait because we had been there for sometime at this point. Finally someone was ready for our order. She had the absolute worst attitude. Told us they had shut the machine down so we could not order what we wanted. It was 11pm and the place was packed. Why would you just down the machine? We were also told on simple flavors like vanilla and chocolate were available. If your going to be open until 11:30pm you should have your full menu available.
