Reyna's Taqueria South (Second Location) — Restaurant in Florida

Fantastic taqueria, and very unassuming being in a deserted food court just near the AMC theater. I will say they are bold opening this little taco shop in that location but if anyone can bring people in it will be Reyna's.

I will say the steak taco is fantastic.The salsa is smokey and full of flavor. The chips are ok but if the chips are fresh, the chips and salsa is great as a side. We have tried the carnitas tacos and the shrimp, both are very good but the steak is well worth the $3. Black beans and rice are separate items and a little overpriced for what you get, especially the rice which was a very small portion for $3.75, and the beans were good but still small for the price of $3.75.

Don’t be fooled by the lack of fanfare and ambiance - Reyna’s Taqueria is quite literally a hidden gem, tucked away in the dying Sarasota Square mall. These are some of the best street tacos in the metro. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the ingredients.
