Smoothie King — Restaurant in Florida

My kids were hungry after a long day at school and they requested smoothies. "How about Smoothie King," I asked and my oldest jumped at the thought. High-vibrational fruit sounded like a righteous plan for all of us and so we set our course to arrive at the Smoothie King on US1.

I was so excited to see Smoothie King now offers açai and pitaya bowls! Wowsers!! This changes everything! I like to eat an açai or pitaya bowl at least once a week so this is a big change since last I came in to Smoothie King. I am so delighted they are offering fruit blessings in this form, now. I will definitely be back regularly. We are limited in local establishments that offer this. There is almost no better day than one with a fruit bowl in it. I need whole-form fruits along with blended açai/pitaya and goodness in my life.

I ordered the Goji Berry Getaway without the honey drizzle. I don't often run into goji berries, and I liked the little dance they did with my tasebuds!

The store was clean and airy. The employee who took my order was helpful and flexible to make changes to my younger sons' smoothie to his preference so he would like it better.

My older son ordered a Banana Boat smoothie, and my younger one ordered a kids' Choco-laka smoothie. I even ordered an extra fruit bowls to-go so I could share the good news with my companion by offering him the Bee Sting Bowl.

A WARNING for anyone with food allergies. My boyfriend and I have gone here twice. He is allergic to egg and milk. We have made the employees aware of his allergies during both visits and they assist us in ordering and making the correct substitutions if the drink contained any milk/egg products. During both visits he has gone into anaphylactic shock while in the car on the way home, and his throat has closed. It is absolutely terrifying. We will never be coming back here again. A smoothie isn’t worth risking his life over. If any management of this store is reading this, please try your best to ensure your employees take food allergies seriously. People’s lives...
