Extremely BAD customer service!
The “Assistant Manager” of this store will do what ever it takes just to make a sell... that means he will basically lie to your face and tell you that you need this and that in order for the computer that you are trying to buy will work.
He also quoted that the HP computers that they sell are not durable because of there cheap components, (actually they don’t make any computer the way they use to. He quoted), and for that reason I needed to buy from them there extended warranty service plan.
This person tried to sell me as much BS as he could, and when I said No thank you to all he’s different offers, he then started to make the following comments as he was SLOWLY ringing me up:
1.- “only a dumb person would not by the warranty plan”
2.- “is it because you do not have the money?...
3.- Why don’t you want to save money?...
4.- I’m only trying to help...
5.- so... you prefer to spend more money down the road?...
At a point, I started to feel sorry for this guy, but honestly I was more annoyed than anything else. At the end, I purchased an Hp computer and a additional Hp hard drive (that he mentioned it absolutely necessary for my computer to operate properly. ( which by the way he ended up not having it in stock).
For the additional harddrive he said that I would have it delivered the next morning to my home guaranteed.
Well guess what?... I did not receive nothing the next morning nor the other, so when I tried tracking the number it said it would be delivered the following week. I was very disappointed because I had a technician that came over to my house twice and the harddrive did not arrived.
I went back to the store 2 days after and spoke with the same assistant manager and he just said: he did not have control for ups, (trying to blame ups for his lies, he did not ship my harddrive for next day delivery, it was regular ground shipping 3-5 day).
At that point, I got tired of the dishonesty of this assistant manager and told him I was going to return everything. He acted like if he did nothing wrong and with arrogance he returned my pc.

They lose points for being shady sharks. You can't get in the door without someone attaching themselves to you, trying to help you find something. Impossible to browse.
My house is less than a half mile away. I build websites as a freelancer. One of my clients is a 76 year old realtor. She calls me up from Staples, and asks me to come look at the 'deal' they're selling her.
Almost $3000 for an HP laptop. Security software, productivity suites, just every possible thing they could stuff in that PC, they did. Even had remote control of it. The staff were very unhappy when I was done, and we left with a $400 HP laptop with no extra garbage.
Don't do that stuff. Don't sell these unsuspecting people software they don't need, and long term contracts for it. The lady was 76. Did she understand anything you tried to sell her? If they don't ask for it, or can't understand what it does, or how long it's for, why would you?
Just remember...you'll be old someday too. And here you are, setting precedent for how...
   Read moreI recently attempted to use their custom holiday card service and had issues throughout the process.
First I had problems with selecting the designs I wanted due to all the filter issues on the website. (And yes, I called customer service regarding this back in the beginning of November, and was told it was a known issue at that time. A month later it was still not fixed.)
Then, after ordering I was informed they would be unable to make the promised timeframe (by an entire week) so they would be refunding the expedited shipping I had paid for.
I was never notified when this had actually shipped, (an email would have been plenty) so it was left out in the rain by UPS. While the cards were wrapped in plastic, the custom envelopes were not. This of course caused them all to become sealed, and a gluey mess.
