My family is mourning the loss of my sister and celebrating my husbands birthday. We visited Taylor’s one time before so we decided to bring our entire family there because the food was great. I called ahead and advised them that we had a party of 20+ a wheel chair adult with CP and 3 small autistic children were coming to have brunch. The waitress then said the private room in back was full at the moment. I said no problem we can wait. We arrived at 11:10am and waited. While in the waiting area the manager I’ll assume was Jennifer Carroll came into the front and said oh God I hope this is not the 20. In that moment we tried to brush off her comment. After an hour wait we where advised the room was ready. As we going to the back to be seated the male waiter asked how many of us I said probably closer to 30 but let me count. The manager then comes back in the room and said she had another party of ten that called and we couldn’t sit all over the room that we had to split our party in the dinning room and the room so the party of ten can sit in the back with us. I said that makes absolutely no sense. She said well they called first plus we don’t take reservations over the phone. I said okay are they here do they want to even sit with us? The manager then says THEY ARENT HERE YET. I said well it’s 24 of us here now only waiting for 6 people to park. She says well the 6 can go in the dinning room this table in here is held i just don’t want this room empty I said ma’am that makes absolutely no sense the room is almost full now and we haven’t even all sat down she says oh well and walk out. There were other male staff in the room trying to be calm and helpful however the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful so I said well then we will leave she said “GOOD MERRY CHRISTMAS” in a extremely snide tone. my sister turned around and said don’t say that she then gets mad and say just get out. Well all 30 of us left only for her to tell the hostess as we leaving she sat the 10 in dinning room already. So at this point the kids are crying they are hungry we waited an hour just to be made to leave. We were never wanted there in the first place. And it’s a shame as this a privately owned place that prides it’s self on saying “FEELS LIKE HOME” well I’ll never treat people this way in my home. She made every excuse not to sit us and was happy we were leaving and making rude comments to tell us to leave. It’s disgusting and I’ll be telling everyone I know never eat here as long as she is the manger. She is not fit to mange any place she has poor customer service skills and as a manager she has no business mindset of profit. If 30 paying customers are here to eat. You run them off for 10 customers??? That makes no business sense. She is a dishwasher at best but definitely not a manager. I keep praying race didn’t play a part in this but there was no other logical reason to...
Read moreMy wife and I, along with two of our friends, finally had the chance to visit Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch — a spot that had been on our “must-try” list for quite some time. My wife had been especially excited, and we were all looking forward to seeing what the buzz was about.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with wonderful hospitality. We were seated immediately and welcomed by our waitress, Melissa, who was an absolute standout. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the visit. Her friendliness and professionalism really set the tone for the meal. Hospitality was an A+++ experience — thank you, Melissa!
🍳 The Meals • My wife ordered the Panhandle Scramble — scrambled eggs over an English muffin with sausage, smothered in sausage gravy, and served with home fries and grits. She loved it, and after sneaking a bite myself, I can say it was absolutely delicious. Easily a 10/10 dish. • I went with the Cambridge Omelette, which featured thick, fluffy eggs with ham, cheese, potatoes, and hollandaise sauce, plus an English muffin. Rich, hearty, and satisfying — another 10/10. • One of our friends ordered the Mexican Skillet. He wasn’t impressed with the refried beans, which he felt nearly ruined the dish, though he still enjoyed the rest once he worked around them. He gave it a 6/10, but mentioned it could be better without the beans. • His wife ordered eggs with a side Belgian waffle. Unfortunately, the waffle came out burnt on the bottom and was extremely tough. She struggled to even cut into it, and after one bite, she decided to leave it untouched. She chose not to complain, simply because Melissa was so wonderful, and she didn’t want to sour the positive vibe of the visit.
💲 Value For both my wife’s meal and mine, with drinks included, the total was around $37 (before tip). Pricing felt reasonable and in line with what we’d expect for a hearty breakfast outing.
🌟 Final Thoughts Overall, my wife and I had a great experience, and we’ll definitely be returning. While our friends’ meals weren’t perfect, the service, atmosphere, and our own dishes left a very positive impression. Taylor’s has great potential, and with just a little more consistency in the kitchen, it could easily be a five-star experience across the board.

I previously went and here is a updated review after today's visit. I reached out to the manager as instructed from the reply. Chuckie rectified the previous visit and today we revisited and this was a better experience and the food was good.Kayleigh our waitress was GREAT!! That's why it's nice to give second chances. 😁 I appreciate you Chuckie for listening to my previous compliant and making up for it. We will be back. My daughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes. I had a much better visit this time around.
I am extremely disappointed with my visit here this morning celebrating my baby birthday. I haven't been since the name change. I used to go all the time, but haven't in awhile so I thought it would be a change from our usual places to celebrate my daughter birthday breakfast. I know we all human, mistakes happen, but no cheese was in my mom's eggs when we requested it. By time they fixed it she was just about finished with her other food. I asked for no blueberries in my child fruit cup but low and behold blueberries came in her fruit cup. Even though simple mistakes they damped our visit. On top of all this when the check was brought out our waitress went to explaning she gave our check to another table and gave us theirs, but the difference was comp off, still not sure how that even happened. I understand yesterday it was some tech issues with the system, but how you just completely give our check to another table and we got theirs when they ordered something totally different. The food was just okay. I asked the waitress for her input on my two choices, but she couldn't really give it because she wasn't a fan of one of my choices. My daughter picked Ihop over Taylor's anyways, but I suggested Taylor's that was a mistake on me because I should have listened to a child vs picking. I'm not sure if I'll EVER go back. Today visit was a complete let down to a child on her birthday. 🙄😥 I have to get a do over for her...
