While the sweet treats offered here look enticing, they aren’t worth the $11 they cost! And the lack of cleanliness and proper food safety training for their employees makes you cringe ...then the line takes 30 minutes!!!! They had 3 workers - one prepping the special fancy glasses for the milkshakes, one taking orders and payments (and sometimes getting the “simple” items ordered to customers) and one making the specialty shakes and sundaes. NO ONE had on gloves, I saw no one wash their hands during my 38 minute wait, and the guy making shakes used the top of his hand to rub his nose, then would brush off his hands between items he topped the shakes with on the sides of HIS PANTS!!! 🤢 By the time I realized these things I had paid and the kids were DYING for their fancy shakes- so we did our best to overlook the conditions but we WILL NOT be returning! Especially because as I mentioned - it wasn’t even worth the money or the wait! The ice cream is mixed with milk and thrown on a mixer machine for almost 4-5 minutes before the ONE guy making each to order finally retrieved it to pour it in the special glass and top with treats. This makes for a thin milkshake and not a thick yummy dessert. There are MANY sweet treat shops and ice cream locations, but this is the only one topping them with treats making them seem fancy, which is why the line was out...

This place has a great concept but poor execution. I went there to try the Cookie Monster milk shake and got chocolate milk topped with stale cookies. I tried to pass it around to get rid of it before eventually throwing it away. A milk shake is thick , rich, and supposed to taste good. However, the staff just put the icecream on the mixer and walked away for - a while. Instead of just completing the job at hand and then moving forward completing other tasks. The toppings should only be opened when needed and kept in an air tight container to keep things crisp and the person making the shakes should not use there hands then wipe there hands on their pants each time they grab something new. The shake glasses can be kept frozen but, should be made to order. I hope this place makes it because it truly is a great concept. But, the staff needs to retrained starting...

I understand we’re in a pandemic and everyone has their opinions but wear your mask or something when serving, they grabbed the cash from the tip jar and continued to serve without washing. Our family ordered multiple of the jar specialty ice creams and we all were missing the bottom items ans topping items as well, VERY rudely saying they are out of cups when to the left there was a freezer full of them! It’s literally vanilla icing slapped on a cup rolled in sprinkles or cookie Crumbs etc.. not to mention there was only one person waiting behind us so no rush! We said we will just take the strawberry one without the pink lip and just use the cookie lip and again major attitude. No wonder that tip just was so low... don’t waste your money for young immature help. Whoever owns it should train properly. Way too many other ice cream shops on the strip with...

My friend Joe Zarconi said I needed to go to Mayday Ice Cream because it was “out of this world and if I was to have any ice cream in St Augustine, it had to be the best and from there.” So I went. The ice cream was just that. Ice cream. And they had no chocolate syrup. No whip cream. But hey, they did have free sprinkles. Amen. Well, since I trusted his word on how out of this world Mayday was and it was mediocre at best, he had to buy me what you see in this picture. Pure chocolate bliss. Oh and he had to explain to everyone in there why he was buying for me. Don’t believe the negative reviews of the sweet spot.

If you’re in the mood for a delightful treat, look no further than the charming ice cream shop that’s quickly become a local favorite. This gem offers a mouthwatering Dubai strawberry chocolate dessert that’s simply to die for! The shop doesn’t just stop at ice cream; it features a fantastic variety of treats that will please kids and adults alike. From colorful candies to unique ice cream flavors, there’s something for everyone. The vibrant atmosphere is perfect for families, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a sweet escape together when in historic St. Augustine. Highly recommend!
