A letter to corporate that I just wanted to share here too
Normally I wouldn’t go out of my way to do this. But I really believe this man should be recognized!!!
I go to the store located at 4322 archer rd Gainesville fl. Almost every single day, multiple times a day. I live on your coffee.
There is a man, I believe his name is Miguel (please forgive me if I am wrong) was working in bev @ 8:50am on Saturday sept 16th he goes above and beyond what he needs to do every time. And even when I order a doordash or delivery order…. I can tell when he was the one who made my drink.
This morning, like many others, I ordered thru the app. I order the same every single time. 24oz iced dulce de leche latte, extra single and extra double shot. I then ask for it to be placed in a 32oz with extra ice due to the extra espresso always melting my ice. Then I personally put one of the brown hot mug cardboard things around my cup to help with collecting condensation.
Most employees put wayyyyy to much caramel in it and I often have to order a double shot to compensate for the sweetness.
When Miguel is working not only do I not have to order the double shot, cause the coffee is perfect…. But he automatically puts it in a larger cup, and places the cardboard thing on it himself.
When I walked into wawa this morning to pick up, he had a large smile (I could tell behind his mask) and said “Goodmorning Jaymi!!!”
I have never in my life received such amazing customer service at a gas station.
And if he’s doing these simple things for me…. I can only imagine what a kind heart...
Read moreThis place was pretty big, clean, and organized, and everything was fully stocked. I was looking at the menu on the way here, so once we got here, I knew what I wanted.
We ordered:
Kid's meal - Plain bagel with cream cheese, banana, and water. Bagel was soft and fluffy. You can tell it was fresh
Kid's meal - 2 waffles, banana, and water. The waffles were soft, light, and crispy. It wasn't thick like a belgian waffle. It was thin in some places, which makes me wonder if it was made fresh in the house. It was tasty and didn't even need syrup.
Cold foam caramel iced coffee - It was perfectly sweet but not overkill. It was just what I needed for our road trip back home.
Hash browns - Grabbed this at grab and go station near cashier. It was fresh and I recommend this needs to be eaten right away. I ate it like 8 minutes later after purchase and half the hash brown stuck to the paper.
Mini assorted doughnuts - soft and fresh. I tried the chocolate and was surprised it had a custard filling. It was sweet and not too much that you'd get sick of it. Perfect to share or as a snack
Jumbo cinnanon roll - it looks scary in the wrapper, but it's great and not hard. It's just a little messy to eat.
The person at cash register was super nice. Food and drink were prepared right away. Overall, it was a great...
Read moreOverall decent Wawa location with a wide variety of foods and drinks to choose from inside and mostly friendly employees, but be careful about how much gas you put in your car. I was with my aunt and she put in $5 in gas for just over a gallon of fuel in a car that gets around 25 miles of range. (Didn't bring a card and only had $5 cash), and before exiting the parking lot we noticed the range to empty was actually lower by 1 mile and wouldn't be enough to get home. We went in assuming the employees would be understanding and give us a refund or allow us to refuel on a different (not empty) pump. We were wrong. The employee started talking about how we should know that the economy is awful and that money won't buy as much fuel as it used to. We know that. We purchased $5 in fuel which should have provided around 25-30 miles of range and didn't get any fuel. The employee argued for a few minutes and finally ended up giving us the money back. We went down the street to a different, unfortunately slightly more expensive gas station just to get enough gas to...
