Late Mouse Lounge — Restaurant in Folsom

What an incredibly unique gem of a space in Folsom. I’m always on the lookout for a good coffee shop serving quality matcha that has a space for my 3 littles and they totally delivered. The guy I spoke to was knowledgeable, answering all my questions & suggesting a drink for me. As for the drink, I got the suggested Ube matcha with oak milk. Made the traditional way with the whisk( so no clumps)lightly sweetened & Ube syrup that was made in house. Chefs kiss. As for the vibe, I love love love that this is a place where families can gather. As long as you make a purchase of at least $5, the space is open for all kinds of fun. There are lawn games(jumbo sized connect 4 & Janga), little kid tables with regular janga & magnatiles, a ping pong table, a regular table with board games, and 2 corn holes sets. There was also a space for just regular seating. In addition, for an additional $2, billiards was available & arcade games were $1. This will be a great play date spot, as well as a place where friends and families can spend some quality time together especially since their hours are pretty late compared to most coffee shops. Also as a note to Google maps users, the GPS took me to the wrong parking lot twice(took me to the parking lot next to iron point station). Hopefully someone can address that because I almost left and would have missed out on discovering this place. Anyways, props to the owners/idea creators who put this place together. I can’t wait to come back with friends/family & try out the waffle creations. Hope this place stays around for a long time....

This place is a gem! With the best coffee in town! We came across Late Mouse in Summer 2024 when it was just a stall at Sunrise Station Farmer’s Market, then learned that they were opening up a lounge at the Folsom Outlets in Oct 2024! We loved the idea that the owners wanted to created a place that is open for everyone and has just the right balance of fun and relaxing. The only bad thing we can say about this place is it’s way too easy to spend too much money enjoying really good coffee.. but I’m not mad about that. Late Mouse...

Came in around 2 pm on a Friday, it was completely empty as expected at that time but the service was still friendly and efficient. I got the Ube Latte with 2% milk, which was delicious although pricey. I can see this as a fun place to go with a friend too, so it's likely I'll come back sometime to try the games.

I might add that I almost bought a snack from the menu but then I saw them on the shelf - a little disappointing and not worth the markup in my opinion. But I get it, it's more of a coffee...
