Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory — Restaurant in Folsom

For the last three years, I’ve really given this place too many chances on bettering their customer service with even being OK in the minimum effort at how they make all their chocolate products. Saturday, May 7 had to be my last time that I will be coming in for a while. And it always has to be the same staff over and over that give the rudest customer service. No one ever looks like they want to work there and when you try and ask for anything, it seems like you’re in the way of their time. For at least a year or so they’ve had the Dubai chocolate bar. Unfortunately, they’re the only store locally I know that has it and hand makes it. The first mistake that they keep making as they can’t make up how to price their products. The price is always different when I go in there cause I get charged anywhere from $10 to at most $15 for that tiny little chocolate bar. This time instead of the chocolate bars, I gave a chance for their Dubai chocolate strawberry cups, $15! With already getting a $8 cheesecake caramel apple, my total was coming to be $40. Eating the Dubai chocolate strawberry cups were quickly regretted. The strawberries in itself were so low-grade that it was sour and just like the chocolate bar, I didn’t get too much of the chocolate with pistachio and Kenefe filling to mask how sour the strawberries were! And like always, the dipped caramel apple we got tasted like it’s been on the shelf for a while super soft and warm to the bite. And if it’s not those strawberries, it’s their other dip strawberries as well that tends to be sour because they’re the average basic store bought strawberries. If I’m lucky, there is only one gal in there that has genuine customer service and she also offers me a free coffee or hot chocolate for every time I purchase $50. Too bad, I couldn’t catch her name to leave it in this review because she was the main reason why I kept coming back. Unfortunately due to the unprofessionalism of the staff, inconsistency of pricing as well as the quality of their products, I will not be returning for awhile. Please better your customer service at least and make your pricing more consistent. And if you’re going to have rude customer service, at least make sure the products are good enough for...

I went in about ten minutes before they closed last night and was treated like a criminal. I just wanted some chocolate and as soon as I entered, the asyrian/Indian guy with glasses was watching me with his arms crossed and a mean mug on his face. As if I was going to rob them. I asked his wife because she was assissiting me with which truffles I wanted. I didn't even look at the guy and I felt him staring at me.
