Silk Bar — Restaurant in Folsom

Let’s be real about this place… it’s dark dirty old sports bar that no one has been able to keep their sign above the door. The new owner naming it Silk Bar to give it some swanky high class vibe and you walk in and just another sports bar in Folsom. The new owner used AI images to make people think that he had made improvements and none were done. The staff is friendly and does their best and DJ Nett’s Wednesday karaoke is the only positives about this place. When was the last time they took the jersey’s off the wall for a cleaning and dusting? Seeing their overflow storage in the food service window is unappealing at best. With a name like Silk Bar they have an opportunity to be a high end cocktail bar with a deep cleaning and minor cosmetic changes. I for one won’t be back as their is more than enough sports bars in the area...

This lounge and Tavern deserves some credit! I have not experienced this type of hospitality in any other bar near a hotel in a very, very long time! Sarah, the bartender was professional and extremely nice! Definitely a conversation starter! The other local guest were pleasant and friendly! I think that’s really what’s missing in a lot of bars these days so I had to at least call out this local gem in Folsom while I’m out here for work. I’ve lost count of how many alcoholic beverages I’ve consumed over the last two years of travel, but I can tell you that the next time I come down to visit my accounts in Sacramento I’m gonna stay nearby so I could revisit this fine...

We had an awesome time at the Iron Bulldog! We were searching for a spot to get some drinks and wings and we decided to try this place out.

The owner was very accomodating and attentive, he immediately approached us to ask us what we wanted. We ordered wings, and fries.

The fries were crispy and seasoned. The sauce which the owner mentioned is made in house everyday was really good!!!

We had half bbq and half buffalo wings and both were flavorful.

We got drinks from the bar and they pour well! :) The prices for the drinks and the food were very reasonable.
