I had my partner make a reservation request through email for 2 king/queen sets for 5 adults to share. This was our first time there and were not sure how the tea event works at this location. Judging from the pictures posted online, I thought the two sets would be enough for us all. If not, I thought we could always add more sides later if needed. On the menu site, it was not specified that each person required one set. The business updated the information now, but it was not there before. They responded to our reservation email but did not ask how many guests were to attend. This would not have been an issue if we had been given the necessary information of 1 set per person. However, they did mention that children from ages 3 to 11 were required to have their own children tea setting. Our child just turned 2 years old which was why I confirmed no children tea setting. In the end, my party and I had a good experience. We just did not appreciate the way we were treated at first, as though we made a big mistake. It just seemed like we were a hassle. I just rather have a better experience where I could have done the procedures and reservation correctly. I do, however, appreciate the staff there on that day. They were accommodating and helped to set us up quickly. The pastries and sandwiches was good. The tea selection was great and probably my favorite part out of everything else. First of, they have no website and no phone number! The menu is not available anywhere! Reservations have to be done via EMAIL, which I did, no response to my request. I decided to drop by, they do not serve tea brunch without a reservation and the only foods available were the iced shaved desert and bobba tea. Very confusing.. I drove 40 minutes to get there with my Mom and son and we could not be seated for brunch/tea. We shouldn’t have to jump hoops to eat at this place. Very disappointing experience.

Follow up: I never received the response from business, searched my inbox all over and nothing. It’s very difficult to find information about this business, found them on Instagram, no phone number listed there. 48 hours in advance for reservation that has to be done VIA EMAIL is not not listed anywhere! I even asked on Instagram and all they told me was to email. The walk in services they offer is also not listed anywhere. Overall very confusing and scarce information. I understand this is a new business, hopefully they will get more organized once...

The king/queens tea was reasonable. Though the main desserts were overly sweet and not typical tea items; creme brulet and cheesecake. Where i would expect biscuits, tarts, or mini tiered cakes. The service was a bit disorganized. They dont seem to have assigned roles or tables. We would have two people ask us the same questions within a few minutes of eachothet but then have to flag someone down later waiting for the check. They need to work on efficiency too... they seem to make a trip to a table to deliver a teapot and then beeline back behind the counter when they could be checking in on the next table. Deliver a box to 1 table and picking up a check from the next... basic server stuff they didnt seem to have a clue about, also chatting and eating behind the counter when people are waiting. They were nice enough but they need some training... and it would have been nice if they were dressed more uniformly. It was hard to tell staff from anyone just wearing black. Especially as some of them were wearing baggy faded pants....
