Went there to get something sweet for breakfast. Got a mini cheesecake and a slice of quiche. The lady asked if I wanted the quiche heated up. I said yes and she said she'd bring it out for me. My friend and I went and sat outside and waited. The quiche never came. I went back inside after 20 minutes and asked to take my quiche to go because we were tired of waiting. She absolutely forgot about it and apologized and gave me an extra piece to go. The quiche was really good. The cheesecake was ok. Another time we gave them business, my aunt ordered a wedding cake from this place. They lost her order and when she went to pick it up, nothing had been made. They asked her for confirmations because they had issues with their computer systems and asked if they could deliver it the next day morning of the wedding to someone attending the wedding's house, but it was an early wedding and wouldn't have made it on time. After wanting to cancel the cake, they said they would do it for free. They delivered it that same evening but there wasn't a cover/box for the cake. They only put the bottom of the cake in a cardboard box with no upper part part of the box. The cake was tall and a lot of it was exposed for transport. It was very difficult to transport. Someone had to hold it for 2.5 hours in the car. Overall, the cake was average. There was sand in one of the berries I bit into so I spit that piece out. Overall, service is not so great but the quiche I had was...
Read moreNope. The owner of this place thinks they are running a boujee french patisserie when in reality it’s a basic shop that’s highly overpriced for this area. I would say it’s overpriced in general because good bakeries in the city don’t charge as much and they use fresh and organic ingredients and have intricate details for their custom orders. After trying for over a month to reach the owner and workers for a custom cake order I finally went into the shop to see if I can order directly there for an event that was 2.5 months out. Their response was to email again since their inbox is filled with requests so my message can be at the top...?! Isnt this your job?? We then got quoted for a SIMPLE two tier cake for $350 and $5-7 per cookies. Recently they started making boba so we gave them another chance and nope they use syrups and the girls had no idea how to make a basic milk tea. This place needs to invest in quality, better service, organization, and training before upcharging customers, especially...
Read moreI ordered a custom-designed cake for my kids' birthday party from pretty sweet, and it was a complete letdown. The design didn't match what I requested, with their names barely visible, characters photos are small and the ages written in tiny, white letters. Moreover, the cake was dry and lacked the flavor I expected. Not only was the cake dry and crumbly, but it started falling apart as soon as we began cutting it. The experience left me questioning whether this cake was worth the nearly $400 price. The quality simply didn't match the cost. I wouldn't recommend this cake to anyone looking for a memorable and delicious centerpiece for their celebration. I definitely won't be recommending this bakery to anyone. The experience was a disappointment from start to finish. They ruined my kids’ birthday party! I did contact them, their response was awful! I have attached photos for the cake. It is the worst cake i have ever had for my kids’...
