Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Folsom

Last night my family and I ate here and had the worst service possible. Before ordering we told our waitress that we were going to split the check and told her which family members would be on each check together. Fast forward, our food came and I ordered a burger but my top bun did not look right so I had my family examine it as well and they agreed and told me to ask for a new top bun. Once our waitress came back I asked for a new bun and she gave me small attitude but went and retrieved one anyways. I thanked her and told her I appreciated it. Well a few minutes later she comes back and says, "btw there was nothing wrong with your top bun. I examined it at the expo window." Since I have worked in the food industry my whole life I was shocked she would even say that to a customer so I just replied, "oh ok, thats cool." When my family I were done, she took our plates away fast but she lagged on retrieving our payments. On top of it she screwed up the two checks even though we specifically told her which people would be on each check. After she fixed the bills we waited over 20 mintes again for her to come get our payments. Without checking the table where my other family left their cash, she charged MY credit card TWICE assuming that I was paying for both parties. After she saw the cash on the table she ran back to the computer and canceled the 2nd payment acting as if I didn't know she charged me twice. Lets just say, you can find better service AND food elsewhere. Do NOT come here!!!! Oh and btw, our waitresses...

I have never had a worse dining experience. My kids and I decided to go out to dinner on a Tuesday. We ordered quickly and our food came out in a reasonable time. My order was not as requested but I ate it without complaint. My son didn’t like his food, but he can be picky, so I just ordered another entree for him so we could continue to enjoy the evening out. I asked for a box for the meal he didn’t eat so I could eat it for lunch the next day. However, the waitress brought his new entree to go. I thought she just got mixed up, and let her know he would be eating it at the restaurant as they were slow and the rest of us still had plenty of food. We even asked for more fries. When she brought the fries out, she took our plates and drink glasses while we were basically still eating and rushed off. It was beyond rude. She never asked if we wanted refills, they were not busy and it was early evening. I had planned on ordering dessert but at that point just decided to leave. I called the restaurant when we got home and asked if I could have the manager’s name and was told they couldn’t pronounce it, that it was “Nick something.” This used to be a decent place to grab a burger but we have no desire to ever go back. Red robin has been a fun family location for years. Normally I frequent Roseville with the kids but today we found ourselves in Folsom. The location was clean and the atmosphere was up to the normal standard. The service however was a far cry from the Roseville location.

Server didn't bring out food which is normally fine but my order was wrong and she didn't come back to check on us until we were done. I ordered spicy honey chicken and got a normal sad chicken instead. For the sake of time I ate it.

Soda refills. This is my simplest request almost everything else is negotiable. I was out of soda after a couple bites of the dry chicken and since neither our waiter or manager came by I was unable to get a refill during this visit. Same for my children.

Bottomless fries...come on....do I really need to say it? We come for the fries but on this visit we were not offered a single refill of fries either.

All and all it was an unfortunate experience. It was 1140 on a Saturday and the place was pretty slow. Our server spent the majority of the time laughing with fellow employees while the manager stood at the front door. Bill was 80 dollars. I want to tip and normally I will be at +25% but unfortunately I couldn't bring myself to leave more than 10 bucks. Frankly you did absolutely nothing to earn it. I will not be back to...
