Really like the food, location and price and most of the time we go here the service is also very good.

However we were there tonight and the waitress was inattentive and a bit rude at the end of our meal. To start we waited for 10 minutes before the waitress started our table. We ordered an appy and two pizzas, she brought the wrong order out to the table, we ordered the garlic shrimp pizza and she brought out the sweet and spicy shrimp by mistake, we told her it was wrong and instead of fixing it or apologizing she passively blamed us for it because she claimed that she heard us say sweet and spicy shrimp (we didn’t, she made an assumption and didn’t clarify when we ordered) we told her again it wasn’t what we ordered but we didn’t want to bother her too much or the kitchen is ver it and we decided it was fine and left it at that (we didn’t really like the app and didn’t finish it). After our meal we were going to hangout for a bit and have a drink, ordered a tall beer but she brought the wrong drink out…again we didn’t want to hassle her so we said the short glass was fine and we continued with the smaller drink.

After that we got the bill, we were going to lay with Apple Pay but when we asked they said it wasn’t available so we decided to pay cash. When we paid the bill we didn’t think the service was good enough to justify the recommended 18% tip (two mistakes and a bit of attitude). We left about $6 on a $60 bill, we didn’t have a lot of extra cash so we added some loose change to get the tip to a more reasonable level (to help cover kitchen / bar tip out). apparently the tip amount we left offended the waitress because she returned the change we left and said she didn’t want it.

In conclusion the food is good the location is good the staff is mostly good however at least one of them has a bit of a customer service /...

First and foremost, I want to mention our server Dionna - super friendly and attentive. She went above and beyond - and maintained her composure the entire meal. Never did we feel rushed. It was a busy Tuesday night at 6pm when we went in and you know how many servers were on the floor?? TWO. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! That’s very poor management! We saw an older gentlemen (the only male employee in the front of house actually), who we assume was either the manager or owner… he stopped by a few tables to chit chat or hug some guests… but did he buss any tables?? Nope. Grabbing 2 bar glasses off a fully dirty table does not count.

So I commend Dionna as a server - she did amazing under the pressure and stress. Yes there times we had to wait a little longer but she grabbed our refills and extra condiments quickly.

We ordered: Fish & Chips - 3 good sized pieces of fish on a big portion of French fries, served with tartar, ketchup, and lemon. Fish was nice and golden/crispy - but a bite bland. Fixed that with squeeze of lemon and some malt vinegar. French fries are good - nice and crispy with a nice coating.

Cold Brew Coffee - decent, nothing fancy for $5.95

Kids menu burger - regular size burger with cheese, subbed out the grapes/celery/cookie for fries instead. You can ask for a side of lettuce/tomato.

Pepperoni pizza - good tasting crust, decent size for $19.85 - had them remove the diced tomatoes

Bowl of clam chowder (has bacon in it) - had it before, but this time it was a little watery and the potatoes were still a bit hard/crunchy.

Beignet dessert - super fluffy but reminded me more of popovers (eggy) than fluffy/bready beignets. Served with 3 dips (chocolate, compote,...

I craved a steak for the past few days. My acquaintance picked out this restaurant and I was open to it because they had a Hawaiian ribeye on the menu. I ordered that Hawaiian ribeye. In fact I ordered it twice and it came out well done both times and kitchen actually blamed it on the marinade and the sauce, I don’t normally post negative reviews but the owner of this restaurant and Allan Wong should know that that steak is prepared wrong and that our nice Server had to deal with two refires back to back clearly both well done. Plus, I left hungry, still craving steak and settled with taco express.. A sauce and marinade would not create the steamed steak that I got; flavor LESS and I’m not gonna go through my past experiences at Houston ‘s and J Alexander, and Capital Grille but I know for sure that no Hawaiian ribeye should look and taste like those steaks did (at $32) The rest of the food was fantastic .. great looking staff, friendly and professional. Awesome service. the bun short rib tacos were great. My buddies Korean fried chicken plate was great. The beer selection was great. The music was awesome, but I wouldn’t order the steak. If you’ve ever visited J Alexander’s or Houston, you know what a Hawaiian ribeye should look and taste like as well.

I guess the thing that irks me the most is that I did not receive a visit from a Manager ..no table visit whatsoever with 2 refires when this steak was ordered, medium rare, and came to the table Well done both times. That’s very...
