It saddens me to know that even though I’ve celebrated my Birthday here and been here other times to enjoy my time with the family, yesterday we had a horrible experience. My sister, my 2 brothers and I were attacked by a party of around 25 people who were about 15 males and about 10 females and no one that worked there did anything. The workers and everyone there did not stop the attack. I was horrified fearing for our lives since you don’t know what could happen when a fight breaks loose or if anyone is carrying any weapons. There’s always children there and no one was safe. It is unfortunate to know that this place has no security and based on how things were handled no safety precautions obviously in case of any complication arising. I don’t feel safe anymore. This is suppose to be a family environment and a safe environment but it just shows that you’re not safe. We had to be the ones to call the cops to make sure we could leave safely since we were threatened that the attackers would be waiting outside for us. One waiter told us to wait inside and sit down that it was better because they were waiting for us outside and the manager even though he knew there was tension from the attackers before the incident happened didn’t do anything to prevent the attack. Everyone saw when the crowd of attackers walked from the entrance area where they were sitting at all the way to the front where the Mariachi plays to where we were sitting on a booth on the side of the restrooms. While my brothers had their back facing the Mariachi enjoying the music trying enjoy themselves from the tension and previous incident they were attacked from the back. The manager and the staff knowing that the attackers had already tried to start problems and walking a distance towards us with a big crowd did not prevent the attack from happening until sadly it did. I wanted to be able to enjoy myself with the family and this is definitely not the...
Read moreWe made a reservation, it was great we didn’t have to wait (making a reservation is highly recommended if you don’t wasn’t to wait in line 1-2 hrs). We came on Sat 5/13 @7pm-: First negative thing is about the buffet, it is overpriced $45 per person and they don’t even have a dessert section (they only have arroz con leche). Average food taste. Our waiter (I won’t mention his name hoping he takes this as a curtesy and to give him the opportunity to change) didn’t come enough times to ask if we needed anything. He came about 4 times in 2.5 hrs. 3 out of those 4 times we asked for: lemons, water and napkins- he never brought any of those. When he brought the check, he wanted us to include the tip before he even took the card. It was kind of weird. The worse part was when he brought us the check and card back for us to sign it, I decided to ask him (not the manager) if he was aware he NEVER brought us any of the items we asked for (we had to ask someone else all those 3 times) and he said: “no se preocupe! (Don’t worry) and I asked him what do you mean? And he said “don’t worry, you are telling me this because of the tip” I said: no, it’s not about the tip! He said: don’t worry again! So I said I’m not worried you should be worried about your poor customer service He said oh no I don’t worry about that. The conversation just kept on going me telling him I couldn’t believe he didn’t care what we were telling him. All he kept saying was: “don’t worry” He took the check and my husband couldn’t sign it. At this point, we decided to speak to the manager about this incident. The mariachi was very nice but I would recommend the selection to be more “happy songs.” We have very good Mexican songs! Are we coming back? I think we can go to a nicer place with a great customer service for...
Read moreI had an absolutely had a blast here with my friend’s family as we celebrated his newly graduated sister. The lights were dimmed as we walked in and since we had a reservation, we were quickly escorted to our seats that had a great view of the stage. Live music was being played by the mariachi band and the crowd were all having a blast and singing along.
As I looked through the small menu to figure out what I wanted to order, we received our chips and salsa as well as some freshly made guacamole that we ordered. When I say this guac was addicting, I mean it. My friend, his brother, and I absolutely devoured it so quickly. For entrees, I settled on the enchiladas with mole sauce since I was told the mole was delicious. I also ordered an horchata since I saw everyone else getting one.
While waiting for our meal, I was thoroughly entertained by the live mariachi band as well as the other small group of singers who swapped back and forth with the band. Every half hour or so, there would be an announcer who went around asking what every family is celebrating and give them a shoutout.
When the food arrived, I was surprised by how large the portion was. Granted the prices are steep for all the items but I wasn’t expecting to receive so much food. The chicken within the enchiladas were prepared well, it was both tasty and I enjoyed the mole sauce. I also really liked the rice but I wish there was more of that. As for the horchata, that was gone in minutes, it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or milky. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and energy of this place, the live music was my personal favorite part of the restaurant as well as that guac. The only downside is the prices so I would definitely save this place for...
