Been their three time in the past 30 days or so and the food has been great. The first time there, I stepped out of my cinfort zone and ordered the Chile En Nogada, that I have never had any where, but it was great. Went back a little over a week ago and had the ceviche and that was really good as well, my son ordered the cochinita pibil and it was probably the best I have tasted at any restaurant, my daughter in-law order three gorditas expecting them to be small like most places but was only able to eat only one and loved it. My wife and I stopped this past Thursday at about 5 minutes till 11 and the place looked abandoned so we went elsewhere. On the way home an hour later they seemed to be open. Not sure what happened since google says they open at at 11 am. Wife, my other son and I stopped in on Sunday after church. Wife and and I shared the molcajete for one and we brought food home and loved it. My son had the "enmoladas" enchiladas with the mole sauce and also loved it. The two waiters were busy but made sure we were good. Looking forward to going back and trying another meal...
Read moreGroup of 8 ladies for dinner. Neat & clean dining area & restroom. Nice seating options. Very diverse menu, focused on Mexican cuisine. Menu item names are in Spanish, description in English. Good prices. When seated we were served chips & 3 different dips: salsa (EXCELLENT!!), bean dip (OK), verde (!!!-HOT-!!!). We had to wait a bit for all 8 to arrive but our server kept checking on us while we waited. Appetizers ordered were a cheese melt with chorizo and fried, bacon-wrapped shrimp. There are 6 large shrimp & enough for 2 ladies to split with a salad. Both appetizers were awesome. Main courses consisted of Fajitas, both beef & chicken, Chili Releno, Taquitos & Quesadilla. Everyone raved about their food. Our server was great, he even asked if the music playing was ok for us. He was attentive without being intrusive, and happily accommodated a couple of requested changes to food items due to dietary restrictions. All 8 of us agree, this is a really great place with excellent food and a “do again” for...
Read moreI was little hesitant because the restaurant was in East Side. Back in the day it was predominantly Mexican but now not so much. I found this place by just searching Google maps for Mexican food. The place is modest but she food is delicious!! I had flautas. They were huge and the chicken was seasoned very well. I also had agua fresco de Pepino. Superb! My husband had a large menudo with fresh corn tortillas. He said it was so yummy! They also had an XL menudo but he said he could barely finish the large. We will def be back! They serve breakfast so we wanna try that next. Prices were not high either. Please make an effort to check this place out. It is down the road from the freeway and if you drive too fast you will miss it. I did. It it right next to the car wash but a little back. The server I believe was the owner and very friendly as well. Thank you sir...
