McDonald's — Restaurant in Forsyth

Based on last 2 plus years of regular purchase here is my review:

Inside restaurant is good, manager, staff , cleaning etc. morning crowd is good. You see some really friendly seniors and biking groups who stop by are cool. I have seen many new faces on cash register who are polite and manager here seem to train them well.

but horrible drive through. Not once but every time I get an egg muffin sandwich, it's burnt. Every time until I stopped buying them this year. Obviously because and only when I am short on time I get drive through and when I get to destination & check my food, it's good o my to get trashed. I try to call asap but no one picks up phone.

Secondly, I DONOT & cannot eat meat so when ever I have ordered I go for hot cakes. Not the combo, just hot cakes & they still like to throw some meat parries in my order making everything just a stinky trash in a bag. Called again & no one picks up.

When ever I Check & go back in to get it fixed, I get an apology & new order but nothing is done to fix drive through order mess. May be those taking/making orders just pay more attention to customer order than their nails.

I wish I could give this mcdonalds 0 stars. Use to be a great store as many in decatur are absolutely horrible. but this one is now roped in to a mcdonalds i will have to avoid. over the last month they have messed up my order on multiple occasions. but tonight was the cherry on top. ordered a big mac and added bacon, they didn’t put the burger meat on so my husband returned after driving all the way home back to the store to get it fixed and they couldn’t even make a fresh sandwich, just threw on patties and called it a day. i also wanted fresh fries since he had to drive all the way back and i ordered a meal, so i wanted to enjoy the fries with my sandwich and they declined to give a fresh fry. i use to be a manager at a restaurant and i would NEVER and have NEVER just threw on the missing part of an order and not offer ANYTHING in return for a mess up. disgusting behavior and disgusting as the box the big mac was in was in my house and in my husbands hand and brought back to their kitchen. dont eat here. ever. these kids have no morals or work ethic at all. you get paid to do your job the right way. i choose to spend my money i make here and i get shitty service everytime....

I am writing to report an issue with an order I placed on Monday, August 4, 2025, between 10:00 am and 11:00 a.m. I purchased three breakfast items and three bottled waters at the McDonald's on Forsyth, Illinois.

When I received my order at the drive-thru window, I noticed my soft drink was missing. I brought this to the employee's attention, and they provided it. However, I later discovered that the three bottled waters were also not included in my bag.

I acknowledge that I should have checked the order more carefully before leaving, but I also expect that the orders are complete and accurate when they are handed to me.

I'm disappointed that this happened, and I hope this feedback can be used for future training to ensure all customers receive their...
