Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Bragg

No idea about the food, but I had a bad experience with one of the employees. I was staying in the hotel behind the restaurant. It was around 10 pm. Apparently the employees were hanging out in the restaurant after closing time, drinking. One of the employees came out of the restaurant and was stumbling across the hotel parking lot. After me, my kids, and my elderly mother got out of the car, and headed up the steps to our room, he followed us up the steps and across the walkway. He kept getting closer to my mom that was behind me, but I had my eyes on him the whole time because he seemed very shady. My son turned around and said nana there is a man behind you. After my son brought attention to him, he walked down the other steps and back into the back door of the restaurant. I went to the door where he went in, and two young women were at the door. I told them what happened, and they said sorry, and then closed the door. A few minutes later, I saw him being loaded into a yellow car. If he was not staying in the hotel, he had absolutely no business following us at night time. He had on a black hoodie with his hood pulled up over his head and part of his face so I couldn’t see much of his face. Worst Mountain Mike's experience ever.

We love our local Mountain Mike's in the SF Bay Area (we've lived near and regularly used several locations around the bay). Pizza was pretty tasty and consistent and service was good, so we thought why not get the Mountain Mike's for the family while in Ft. Bragg... bad choice. The simple pepperoni pizza was a crazy ball of greasy overcooked pepperoni (and, mind you, I love crispy, oily pepperoni, so this was surprising). And, the deep fried mozzarella sticks were so undercooked, they were nearly white and not edible - how can you screw up those?

When we called the restaurant, the option we were given was to come by the store the next day so they can make it better, but we were leaving, so here's the review instead.

Ft. Bragg has a LOT of pizza places. Please don't waste your time on this one, try one of the local, non-chain...

Tonight Mon 3/14 Ordered a Medium chicken club pizza and a salad to go. The cashier announced $61.45 !! My husband and I said wow that much ! The cashier said "Pizza is so expensive now" ! I further questioned "for a medium pizza & 1 salad to go ?? " Your menu on the counter shows this medium specialty pizza is $23.99 and one salad $7.49... she exclaimed "oh!! oh!! I am glad you said that". "Let me fix that." We been having so much trouble with our computer". We may be Gray haired out of towners paying cash but we can certainly add. Maybe it was an honest mistake I'll let you draw your own conclusions. Although there was none on the menu something smelt fishy. The food was ok ...
