Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Fort Collins

I'm such a fan of this particular Chipotle that this is somewhat difficult to write…I frequent this Chipotle and have observed that most of the time things are great there and for the most part especially the crew, however recently I have seen a lot of unfair behavior towards their customers…for example, last week I saw a gentleman come in and ordered a Casadia which is my usual as well…he said to them chicken and they proceeded to make his casadia while he followed her along in line…when he got to where the salsa was a lady came out from the kitchen with a loud voice saying in a snappy tone …like he did something wrong and got caught…"Hey..I'm gonna have to charge you for a burrito because of the chicken!…WHAT?…I saw he was caught off guard and seemed a bit startled and surprised just like the rest of us were in the line…because he didn't ask for extra chicken however this lady decides without asking him to give him the extra chicken that he had to pay for?!…it was their doing and constitutes a bit of an oxymoron here…they put the chicken in and he had not requested extra…what are they thinking! and the way they handled it was inappropriate to snap at him because of it!….he was upset to say the least and just paid and I heard him say he will never come back because of it…so if they are trying to cut back they are defeating their purpose because the only thing they will cut back on will be their customers! so tonight I go in and order my usual casadia chicken to go…the girl is acting very abrupt like I'm bothering her and the woman in front of me said the same thing that I was thinking out loud!…anyway I get my casadia home and it literally had three pieces of chicken in it..okay I get treated poorly and on top of it I paid for a chicken casadia that I didn't get…I too don't want to pay to be abused!…get it together people…and for the ones who work there that are kind and good…so sorry that these two women are making it a place some of us don't want to come back to! sadly trying to save a buck is making people angry and being rude to your customers isn't a good recipe for business…you need...

I have been a die-hard Chipotle fan and eater, but after my order tonight I am just over the continual disappointment. My main complaint is with the portion of food, especially meat. It started happening in the last two years.. One time I counted the meat in my burrito bowl (from my to go order) and it was five cube sized pieces. Tonight on every one of my portions: rice, beans, meat, fajitas, etc. it was about half of what they normally give. I added all the condiments and by the time my order was complete there was still significant room at the top of my bowl, whereas a couple of years ago with the portions they typically gave, it would have been a very full bowl. My bowl tonight looked half empty.

Additionally, I always order a bag of chips and it is literally a 50-50 chance whether the chips are good or horrible (stale with no salt). I keep giving them chances, but this is beginning to feel like the new normal. My meal came out to $15/ meal and when you're paying that amount but get only half the food, it is...

The worker making our burrito bowls scraped the crunchy burnt rice from the bottom of the pan to make our bowls. When it tasted horrible on the first bite I went back to the counter to ask for it to be remade and the manager reluctantly agreed but said I had to go wait in the long line for the new bowl to be made while my family sat eating their dinner and the rest of mine was getting cold. When I objected to that she rolled her eyes and agreed to remake it but threw it together and was clearly annoyed. The new burrito bowl did not taste any better and we ended up have to go elsewhere to eat. We have had several bad experiences with Chipotle recently and it clearly seams like the quality, service, and consistency has declined from what it once was many years ago when we first started eating at this restaurant. I will never eat at another chipotle again based on my recent experiences at this restaurant. I do not recommend it and would advise you to go...
