Most of the staff is amazing. They take care of customers quickly, and they have a drive thru which is great for people who are on the run or too lazy to actually walk inside. Their food is good, and they have a lot of seating inside, unfortunately, just not a lot of parking. They are still busy all the time inside, so I am guessing students walk or bus themselves to this Starbucks. Coffee and food always comes out as it should. (updated my review)
While most of the staff is amazing, right after I wrote this review one barista gave me attitude about my card not working, even though I have nearly $100k on my card, I complained to half the staff over my next few visits. I made a mistake on a review I did through Starbucks Corporate and when I confronted the store manager to correct the review she refused to step aside to have a conversation, so I had the conversation at normal volume so the store can hear. I told her about my mistake in my positive email to corporate, told her about my bad customer service from the other barista, she didn't seem to care, baited me into a 30-45 second argument about proper customer service, which she was wrong every step of the way. She had the nerve to tell me to watch my language after she got me arguing with her. I told her that I needed 3 coffees to go and she blew me off and had one of her other employees help me out and she went back to doing something (arranging the counter top or cleaning the counter top, I couldn't really tell what in the heck she was doing, but it had nothing to do with serving customers) that could have easily waited. I ended up contacting the district manager about the store manager, apparently she is amazing and arguing with a customer has never happened before. That was the first time I have ever talked to the store manager and she handled my situation poorly. From what I saw she was an ineffective manager and needs more training.
I came back on Thanksgiving to say goodbye to a few awesome employees they have because they do their job way better than most, also to tip them out for the last month of visits when I didn't carry cash, and that was my last visit to the location. I fear if I go back the manager is going to piss me off again and I am going to hop on to the first flight to Seattle to voice my complaint and have her fired. That is money wasted and I lot of time that the store manager isn't worth. If Starbucks even gives a crap about their brand they will correct her actions with a warning or something. I am even toying with going back to do my routine and sitting in open view so she has to confront me on a daily basis and realize how wrong she really was. I really don't think the district manager is going to do anything about it, therefor the bad review. So, I am now back to my original Starbucks store where the management and staff are 100% professional, awesome, and fast. Unfortunately, just not a lot of seating, but tons of parking. Why can't we get a Starbucks with LOTS of parking and LOTS of seating? Like build a shopping mall and make it a Starbucks. Life...

I visited Sunday in the evening from 8 to close. The service was average. The place was marginally clean and the occupancy about 50%. Most customers were sitting on their laptops, etc. As the night lengthen the music got louder. It was the typical genres that if really listened too you'd think they wanted you to hate yourself, your neighboring and to be self destructive. About 15 minutes before close they started playing "Closing Time... Last call for alcohol... They played it about three times at high volume. At this moment I'm nearing the end of my paper on Analyzing your Audience when communicating a message.
It turned out they had to send one of them on the floor to inform people to leave in a few minutes. The staff member was clearing uncomfortable and annoyed that people didn't understand the song.
One thing I have to say, is if you guys need to speak by music, then stop insulting me over and over with drugs, alcohol and self degrading communication through your song choices. It's unacceptable to communicate through a medium you say is not your voice all day but is in the end.
Please Starbucks, bring back your intelligent employees who actually want to socialize in the coffee shop as it was intended to be enjoyed. Otherwise, is it acceptable for me to find an equally degrading song to communicate to you?

Read moreThe best Starbucks I've ever been to. We pulled in and my girlfriends car wouldn't shift out park AT THE DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW. We tried and tried but I was stuck. They offered to call a tow, I let them know my insurance had one on the way. The girl was in tears and they offered to comment out to try and push but it was useless being in park. They quickly cleared out the drive through and stopped others from pulling in, they came out and gave us water and re made the girlfriends drink because by that time it had melted. The drive through woman came out and gave her a a hug and then another lady came out and gave us a drink that someone had turned down and gave us both hugs as well. They continued to check in with us while we waited and as we left they thanked us for our visit.
We wrecked their morning and they THANKED US.
Absolutely the best experience ever they were so kind in our time of need and still ran that front counter like pros. We will be back and we won't put it in...
