I recently had the pleasure of visiting Kavarado, and I must say it was an extraordinary kavabar experience that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I used to be a regular attendee at this place and spent countless hours and dollars here however any time I’ve been in the last year it has brought nothing but disappointment. The employees are rude and spend most of their time chatting with friends. Not to mention they are always in the MOST unprofessional attire and have little to no customer service skills whatsoever. The once judgement free and fun loving culture has turned into a nightmare. This evening will most certainly be my last visit to this location due to how I and my friends were treated. To provide context, Whenever you come in to the bar your asked to produce a form of ID for age verification which is understandable due to the products sold here but when I attempted to pull up my boyfriends ID for the bar attendant (Winter) I was told that she didn’t have all night to wait around for me and that we needed to leave. I politely asked her if the boys could just play the round of pool we already purchased before we had to leave. She said no, so I asked if I could have our 2$ back then. This is when she decided to pick up a nasty tone with me and told me that they didn’t own the pool tables so I could not. I was fine with that but I was not fine with her tone so I told her that was ridiculous and I work at a real bar and they would never treat customers like this and she replied I don’t care that’s the rules here. At this point I decided to just leave because this place isn’t worth fighting for anymore. She proceeded to go grab the current manager (Tad) who just immediately threw us out and 86ed us rather than asking about the situation from our perspectives. I have had past issues with this manager so I wasn’t really surprised he typically handles situations with no tact and comes for the person(s) in a condescending and arrogant manner. It’s sad that people who have been coming here for years get treated like this especially when they know all of the bar tenders on shift. Moral of the story: spend your money...

We have been going to this location since aug 2021 and the quality of the service has had a noticeable downgrade. service used to be very nice and welcoming, guests were welcomed and the menu was well explained and we were allowed to hang out and play games as long as we wanted and there was no drink minimum. most of the crowd was students working, or groups of friends hanging out. didn’t used to card us. we had a few bad experiences with baristas giving us bad advice such as “you can not over do it” and then we have 3 drinks and spend the rest of the night throwing up. we recently came back and the experience has been terrible. since our last experience left us sick we just wanted to come with our other drinks who do drink kava and hang out. after around 2 hours of being there i as for water and am told i can not be given water unless i buy a drink. very weird and appalling rule considering the stuffy and warm environment. next time we come in is even worse. the barista tells us we are not allowed to even be there and hang out with our group unless we buy a drink. we buy the cheapest option and our other friends drink them for us so we can continue being there. they require you hand over you ID to play the dart machine in exchange for a handful of $6 darts because they assume everyone is a tweaker now because that’s who the majority of the frequenters now are. sad to see a once cozy and welcoming environment turn into...
