Wonder Tea — Restaurant in Fort Collins

My wife and I visited Wonder Tea for the first time today. It had been a couple of years now that we hadn't had boba tea because we were so used to our previous shops which were so awesome in Las Vegas. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a nice gentleman from behind the counter. There was no one else in the shop, so we were served quickly. He and the other young lady that came from the back worked fast on our orders and was so nice and helpful.

The staff and atmosphere was excellent!👌👍 Our beverages were made very well and tasted good. The boba however was a bit different. Instead of the smooth, shiny black pearls we were used to, the boba was much lighter in color - almost translucent and felt as though they were wrinkled or rough on the surface. Sadly they were the weakest part of the beverage. Normally I eat every boba but this time I dumped the remaining ice and boba down the drain after I drank the excellent whole milk tea. For two large beverages (my wife got the Honeydew Smoothie 🥤 with Almond Milk and I got the Black Milk Tea) it came to: $15.57 after...

Usually, I’m very happy with the service here however today total 180°. It was 7:13pm and they didn’t have boba. Okay, cool awesome understandable. Weird cuz the guy at the front was drinking his boba in front of me. Off to a great start. My drink is getting made and I receive it. I put my straw in and it spills everywhere from the the side of the cup pointed away from me when it has a crack where my straw wasn’t anywhere near. The guy who is on his phone when I tried to ask for another cup because I hadn’t spilled a lot of my drink ignored me. I ask again and he squeezes the cup and continued the drink continued to spill over my hand and the counter. They take it and he puts a pocket knife into my cup and into the liquid and pour into another cup. Half of my drink is gone all it not only touched my hand it touched his and the knife and the only thing that was done was it was poured into another cup with more ice. Wonderful little place. The first thing I noticed when walking in was the brightness and cleanliness of the store. Despite this, it doesn’t feel sterile: it’s quite cozy. The two ladies working were very friendly and answered all the questions my boyfriend and I had about the menu. The service was fast and the drinks were delicious. Pricing is also pretty good considering all of the customizations they offer to the beverages (ie. aloe jelly, mung bean, jelly coffee, tarot crystal boba, jelly grass, etc.), the location, and - of course - paying their employees, among other things.

As is with any dining/drinking establishment, asking questions about the menu (and the drinks (specifically their sweetness level)) helps to ensure that everyone has a happy experience.
