Happy Trails Coffee Company — Restaurant in Fort Collins

My trusty sidekick (aka my daughter) and I moseyed on down to Happy Trails Coffee Shop for a snack, and WOW! We walked into a kaleidoscope of color that immediately put a pep in our step. You could say the vibe was… vibrant!

The crew behind the counter were basically human sunbeams, every bit as warm and welcoming as the decor. They're true potion masters, whipping up everything from magical coffees and teas to super smoothies and legendary lemonades. My gluten-free heart did a little happy dance seeing so many fantastic options!

But the real treasure at the end of this trail was their amazing care with my daughter's nut allergy. They treated it with the seriousness of a top-secret mission, ensuring our snacks were safe and sound. That level of attention is pure gold for an allergy parent!

We galloped out of there with glee and some very happy tummies. Happy Trails? More like Happy Tummies and Happy Us! We'll be back on this...

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Fort Collins. Not only is the coffee delicious, the staff- so friendly! The ambiance is great if you’re trying to get work done but, it’s also great if you have small kiddos. I have consistently brought my kids into Happy Trails for as long as it’s been open- there are always crayons, coloring pages, & bubbles and chalk in the summer. I never feel judged when my kids are being, well, kids. It’s truly the best! Look no further for your fav new coffee spot.

Edited to add do not sleep on the seasonal menu. They’re always so good (and not just an average seasonal menu) super unique flavors! Currently sipping on a Peach Cobbler Latte from the Fall menu and...

The service was excellent and it was pretty busy when I stopped in. I used to be a barista and I’ve worked in the food industry so I try to be very patient and understanding with time. It took about 15 minutes to get my drink which wasn’t an issue, but the espresso tasted super off (I used to be an barista and drink a lot of coffee) and I ended up throwing my drink away after 2 sips due to the taste. I’ll definitely be back to give this place a try again in the future. And I bet they have wonderful drinks it was just a disappointing first experience and I didn’t have enough time to ask for a remake.
