I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time now, and while the food and atmosphere are both stellar, it’s the service from Mindy that has me coming back again and again. Read moreI used to absolutely love going to the Floridian & I went religiously Wednesday- Saturday weekly, for the entirety of my pregnancy- Rob & Samia are hands down the best servers I’ve ever had so I’d only go to see them. Anything outside of them was garbage so I’ve only gone a few times since giving birth. Service is sub par otherwise but tonight just really took the cake for some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. It was absolutely dead in there when my family and I got there (as in, last couple trying to cash out to leave). Demario was our server (and the only one there) who took forever to acknowledge us and somehow even longer to take our order- I’m talking over 10 minutes because he was sitting down at the bar talking to BOH and on his phone. He finally took our orders but stopped my mom mid sentence to say he doesn’t know if the cook will want to make that (a wrap, that was listed on the menu with zero modifications); he then left, came back to us, & said ok the cook said he’ll do it. My mom asked for ranch as a dip with her food & it was supposed to come in her wrap- she didn’t get any. We had to flag him down when he finally reappeared after 15 minutes of hiding in the back. We said hey, there’s no ranch can we get some. He made a huge ordeal about it, saying the cook already put it in there. My mom just asked for a side of it, he’s gone another 10 minutes so by now her food is ice cold and my dad and I stopped eating & our food is also cold. Came with 1/4 cup of ranch, saying that’s all they had. My mom asked for bleu cheese- took another 5 minutes to get. The entire experience screamed “you’re putting me out”, so as a patron who has spent a lot of time and money there previously & absolutely loved it, this ruined everything for me. Read moreI really can’t find a word to describe the bad service of the server…. He is a really bad waiter! The busman was great, he was the one who take care of my table. I ordered to start a chili bowl soup (and that wasn’t a soup was very tick and awful but I didn’t complain) and I needed to ask the busman to call the waiter because he only took my ordered and really never came back again, I asked for mayo and it was like I asked him for gold “before I leave do you need anything else?” BROTHER do your job or quick! I work in customer service I have two jobs and I really hate when I go out and have a bad service like today. I love the rest but I stopped going here because of the bad service, before all the staff was amazing, now is very depressing! I wait a while to go again hoping he is gone or have new staff, and the bad new is that he is still there and I don’t have another option, the few times before he rushed me to pay even when I am just arriving because he want to leave, and I understand that, but then if I need a glass of water I need to go to the kitchen or talk with the window because he left. But tonight everything was bad! Bad food, bad experience, worst service ever except for the busman! I need to go to the kitchen to ask for to go box and for my bill… You think this is right? He bring all the plates at the same time even when I was very specific with the soup that I want it first. After that, I didn’t see his face not even one more time!
