If flavor had a passport it would definitely have a stamp from Bombay Darbar. From the moment I stepped in I felt like I boarded a spice flight straight to Mumbai with no TSA just taste buds cleared for takeoff.

Let’s start with the samosas. Holy curry leaves Batman these little golden triangles were out of this world. Crispy on the outside perfectly spiced on the inside and honestly if NASA ever needs fuel for their next launch they should probably just ask Bombay Darbar for a tray of these.

Then came the garlic naan and I swear I saw the light and it was the warm glow coming from that buttery garlicky bread. I could have made a meal just out of that naan alone. It was fluffy flavorful and had that “just one more piece” power that should be studied by scientists.

Now let’s talk about my main event the butter chicken. Creamy rich and full of soul. Every bite was like a warm hug from an Indian grandmother who has been cooking since before the spice trade began. It’s one of those dishes that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place. Comforting perfectly balanced and so full of flavor it almost felt like it was flirting with me.

The atmosphere was pure magic. A mix of vibrant colors eclectic energy and a hum of laughter and conversation that made the whole place feel alive. You can tell everyone there is having a great time and that’s the best kind of vibe a restaurant can have.

And then there was Sofia our server the absolute star of the show. Friendly funny and totally on top of everything. She made sure our table never went dry or hungry and her energy was infectious. She treated us like old friends and made the whole night even better.

I was dining with some really good friends and by the end of the night we all agreed Bombay Darbar isn’t just one of the best Indian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale it’s one of the best meals you can find anywhere on Las Olas Boulevard. The prices are fantastic for the quality you get the portions are generous and every bite tastes like it was made with passion.

If you want a restaurant that delivers flavor fun and flawless service this is the spice of life you have been craving.

When I first got here I didn’t think that much of it because the outside settings were not very appealing but once inside I saw the decorations and the staff members, they were all well presented. For an Indian restaurant, this place is off the hook, well designed,the bar, the furniture, the giant chandelier and the sculptures are a gorgeous combination and makes the experience here very comfortable. Now about the staff members, they were very knowledgeable about their food choices and our server was fun and engaging and gave us a very good explanation about their menu choices so we can easily order our food! The food vs. price in my opinion perfectly balanced and the flavors OMG! There is nothing better than Indian cuisine but here at Bombay Darbar the food is incredible, specially the Tandoori chicken cooked to perfection and their biryani chicken is to die for! I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion, business dinner,family celebrations,anniversary celebrations or a romantic dinner for two! Now very important PARKING! Is very limited specially during Holidays and weekends so if you cannot find parking on the street near the Bombay Darbar then drive back to Casa Sensei restaurant and right next to it you will see a five storage garage with plenty spots. To pay for parking just download the app and pay with your phone, but inside the parking garage there is no signal so just walk outside and proceed to download and pay simple! Then all you need to do is walk back to Bambay Darbar and be careful crossing the street. On a rainy day please bring umbrellas to prevent getting wet while you’re walking back and forth.
