Kavasutra Kava Bar - Las Olas — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Wish i could rate it a zero. Bought a gram of there (boom) kratom a kid named conner told me "its the strongest kratom extract ur going to get" made a 10 mile drive late night expecting to be impressed. Complete garbage. Its clear to me that everything connor said to me was a complete lie. I know this because he said he uses kratom everyday and he "cant handle this stuff its so strong" yet i sware on everything i already had some plain leaf at my house that is by far stonger than this. Took a whole half gram dose by dose after being told to start with a .15. Nothing. I mean literally i did not feel anything. Do you know how much connor charged me for a gram. 30 dollars... Are you joking.. I would be completly satified to just get my 30 dollars back but thats not ganna happen. Btw i have never left a bad review or any review at all for that fact. But i had to type this review as i fall asleep at 3:33am feeling totally ripped off and cheated i want to say robbed but i got a gram of garbage so i gues its my fault for listening to this kid who clearly was taking about somethimg he knew nothing about. I had a terrible experience. Walked in sat at the bar for about a good 10mins and was not acknowledged once. I then got up and walked to the other side of the bar where I had to get the bartender attention. Mind you it's only about 6-7 ppl there. Ordered my drink and paid for it. Sat down to study for about 45mins. Got up went back to the bar and sat down to order another drink was not acknowledged until about 20mins. Finally order my drink, took about 25 mins to drink it all. A couple came in and sat next to me and was immediately acknowledged. I had been sitting there with my kava bowl empty for a while and my money out ready to pay. Finally I paid and got the wrong amount of change back twice and the bartender was really nasty didnt apologize or anything it was like he didnt give af. I'm pretty sure he didnt because I am black. Very very small local. It’s hard to find seating because the max seating capacity it’s very low. If you haven’t tried Kava before, it taste like mud or dirt water. It takes you a couple of Kava drinks to get the buzz everyone talks about. You better bring in a good amount of money because their Kava ain’t cheap, unless you get lucky and come during the special hour. Their customer service isn’t great, they were actually very hostile and only cared about making money. Last time I came to this place, since there were not seating I was standing waiting for a spot to open up and I did not wanted to order yet since I was not comfortable enough, this very young guy (bartender) at the other side of the bar told me why was I there if I wasn’t going to order.
