Given that "Vale" is a new local restaurant - I thought I would give it a try. The visit was on 03/30/19, at 5:49 PM: Nice decor and quite a bit different then the other 2 restaurants that were in this location that didn't last too long - not busy at all, only 4 other customers . . . Now - To be honest, while the "bowl" of food I had was not bad - it was over priced and way too expensive for the quality & amount of product that is served. The worst part of this experience, was not being told ahead of time that I was going to be charged extra for requesting a scoop of cheese instead of the dusting they gave me as the "Boost". I only noticed this after I looked at my receipt while eating, When I returned to the counter to mentioned to the management that I found this disappointing, they seemed completely dumbfound why I would be bothered about being charged more for what they considered an "extra" Boost without being told ahead of time. Finally, I was asked if I wanted a refund - Really ? Yes - I wanted a refund. So - Disappointing in more ways then just one. More importantly - IMHO - Without a doubt, you would be better off to go to Bowlicious or Beehive, even if it means driving out of your way. AND - Like it's predecessors, I really do not expect "Vale" to be here much...
