Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Fort Lee

Something that is not chewable was in the sandwich this time. (refer to photo) Normally- I love Jersey Mikes Sandwich but disagree with someone who claimed that Fort Lee workers are hard workers. I usually order from online and these are my complains and I really hope they manage this issues.

1. I cannot add any note upon placing order from Grub hub- that said, I had to call the store to inform my special request. Such as give me the oil & dressing on the side as I don't want my sandwich become soggy or give me lots lettuce.

2. Never provide any napkins along with the sandwiches. I have placed order more than 20 time within a year and I can assure you that I never ever received any napkins. Eating Sandwiches..can be hectic as they are big with lots of sauce in there.. provides no napkins is very annoying. Feels like there are no consideration for customers.

3. If you add more veggies for the topping, you are going to get very little amount for every veggies. This doesn't happen for classic sandwiches. When I place the order, I opted for all veggies. I understand the portion can be reduced as I ordered all veggies but getting unreasonable amount of veggies are totally not acceptable. I see few of chopped lettuce in my sandwiches- literally few of them were in there. 3 jalapenos on giant sandwiches and peppers were not evenly topped in the sandwiches. Every bite was kinda different taste. I can see they were in a rush.

We had our first experience a week ago and it was amazing!! It was during the week before 2pm and the staff were so pleasant, helpful, kind, and very welcoming. We decided to go today again on a Sunday. BIG MISTAKE!!!! The staff were not welcoming at all, no hello, no smiles, and they looked miserable. It was a young guy and a young girl and honestly we felt as if we were bothering them. The guy was unprofessional and had this disturbed look when I asked to cook Bacon longer so it’s crispy because it had a lot of fatty parts that had not cooked down. Then the girl questioned the guy why was he putting it back on and she looked bothered. The sandwiches were not as good as before. He lied in my face or was so out of it he wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing. He looked like he was half asleep. He kept reopening the sandwich because he kept forgetting to add the stuff in it. We ordered from the menu so these sandwiches have the descriptions right behind him. I drive almost an hour all the way from Queens, NY to NJ to satisfy this craving for a Jersey Mike's sub.. I go in, wait in line and politely tell the gentleman what I would like... a sub with ham and Swiss cheese... I then ask if he could grill the ham for me, he pauses and looks at me and says that he can't do that, that they only grill the steak for the Philly cheese steaks... I tell him how I drove from NYC to Jersey just for this particular sandwich and he was indifferent and didn't really care. Personally, I like the ham on my sandwiches grilled and I don't understand why he couldn't ablige and grill the ham for me. I was supper disappointed. I've eaten at dozens of Jersey Mike's in various states across the U.S. and this is the first time I was told that they "can't grill the ham". Super disappointing and I will be taking my sandwich cravings elsewhere.
