The experience so far has been bizarre at best. We arrived at open and walked up to the register to order. The guy (Ajay is who the receipt shows) is still counting his drawer. Ok, he got a late start or something. While we're standing there for 3+ minutes, he never even acknowledged our presence. Asked him if he was open, he said yes, then had to recount his dimes. Finally he finishes with his drawer and puts it in and still doesn't say anything. So I ask him if he's ready to which he replied yes without any thought of us standing there just watching him count. Let's say he not customer focused at all! Then we go sit down to wait for our food and I hear snoring! I look and see these legs hanging out the end booth (see pic) When the server brought the food, I pointed it out to him and it was actually an employee. Food was good yet I'm used to getting a Reuben hot and this was only warm. It's probably just an off morning for them, yet between the service and the snorer, I could only give them a 2.

Terrible service and inconsistent quality of food. We have ordered here multiple times and this may be the last. We placed a to-go order and it was for curbside pickup at 2:38. The website said to click the “I’m here” button on the email confirmation. There is no “I’m here” button anywhere on it. So at 2:40, when our food still hadn’t come out, I called to make sure we were in the right place. (Forgot to mention there was not designated parking for curbside) they said to just park in front of either door and they will “bring it right out”. I waited until 2:48 and went in and asked about my order, the girl acted like she has never heard of curbside orders before and then walked over and grabbed our order. The ticket on the order indicated it was sitting there since 2:33!!! This is just one example of what kind of service or inconsistent quality we get. Not to mention when I actually opened my food and see the nachos, the chips were practically crumbs from the bottom of the bag!

My fiancé and I live in the forum area and looking for a place to grab lunch. We had never been here so decided to give it a try. I’m a big fan of the classic club sandwich so I ordered that considering it was one of their “signature” sandwiches, my fiancé is a fan of soup so she order the potato soup with a side of potato salad. She was not impressed with either and the crackers were stale. I tried the potato salad and it tasted like the tubs of ready made potato salad at Walmart so I’m sure it came in a big plastic tub from Sysco. This review however is on my sandwich. This place is called McAlisters DELI…this club sandwich which is supposed to be a “signature“ sandwich but was an absolute disappointment. There was barely any meat on this thing as you can see by the photo. I’ve had better sandwiches from Wawa and Race Trac. This was our first time trying this place and it will be our last.

The food: Short version: 7.5/10 The quality was suprisingly good. I had the French dip and mashed potatoes. The gravy was a dark tan, and very good. It was rich but not overwhelming. 8/10. The mashed potatoes were average. No skin, but not dry. 5/10, but the gravy makes it worth it.

I also sampled the mac & cheese, which was quite nice. The cheese was rich and stood out, and may have been a blend or non-standard cheese. It was unseasoned, but good overall. 7/10.

The main dish I got was the French dip, which was better than most places, esp. for the price. 7.5/10. The toasted baguette was a solid 9/10. The meat was high quality, very juicy, and expertly cooked. It lacked seasonings such as basil or garlic, but the meat flavor stood out. Though this complaint is more of a personal preference. 6.5/10.

The au jus was bitter, as it should be, but not overly so. The savoriness (or umami flavor if you want to be presice for some reason) was stronger. It was overall not very pungent and could easily be drunk straight. 8.5/10.

The cheese was as expected and well portioned. 5/10

It also came with a deli style pickle. Not spicy or overly pungent. 7/10.

The atmosphere: Light and dark browns, clean windows all around. Nice casual atmosphere. 7/10 for casual.

The price: 6/10. About $7 - $9 per item. Very large portions. Subs seem to be about 6-8in, but very full. You get a side and pickle with subs as well. Check calories for a better idea.

Other: We were served by a women named Karen (I hope I spelled that correctly). I asked what she would recommend and she gave me two samples to try. She was extreamly nice and helpful...

Had a chance to visited McAlister's Deli and I was blown away by the excellent service and delicious food!

The staff at McAlister's Deli were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. They were attentive to my needs and made sure that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal.

The menu at McAlister's Deli is extensive and has something for everyone. I was impressed by the variety of options, from sandwiches and salads to soups and desserts. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients.

I decided to try their famous "spud" - a baked potato loaded with toppings of my choice. It was absolutely delicious! The potato was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. I also tried their sweet tea, which was refreshing and perfectly sweetened.

The atmosphere at McAlister's Deli was also great. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy feel to it. It was the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

Overall, I would highly recommend McAlister's Deli to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I will definitely be...

Worst dining experience. Went in for dinner. Orders were taken so slow and we waited in line behind two guests for an unreasonable amount of time. One cashier, and was getting orders ready between customers. Guy with tank top walks into kitchen distracting staff slowing service down even more. Food came out timely but one order didn’t have chicken on the salad and one order bacon was burnt to a crisp. Literally crumbled in my hand. Asked them to remake sandwich and staff was congregating and mocking. Guy comes out and asks if I want just half or whole. I said whole. Could see the looks and convo through the window behind the counter. Came out with half and said “unfortunately we could only make you half because you ate half.” I rejected the remade half out of principle. So short sighted. Neglected the fact that the first half was barley edible. Manager Steve was supporting the mockery and when I asked to speak with him he couldn’t care less. Will be following up with store manager Jim tomorrow. Floor at front door is filthy. One door is locked. The most mismanaged restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Out of three things we tried to order. Advertising seasonal items no longer on the menu. This place...
