Took a ride on the Harley, looked up restaurants in Ft. Smith, and this place caught my attention! We stopped in for lunch and a "cold one." I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, my guy had the sliced brisket sandwich with onion rings. The smoke flavor in my sandwich was superb! I didn't add any sauce (available on the table) because I just wanted to savor that delicious and moist pulled pork! And what a great portion of it on my very fresh bun! The sliced brisket was also very good according to my partner; he added some of the BBQ sauce from the bottle with the red lid and commented that he thought it had "a little kick to it!" The heap of fries were quite tasty; my partner said he was sorry he didn't order fries also as his onion rings were a bit overdone. The service was great - we were greeted right away and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Our orders were taken quickly, and the wait was short for our meals. When asked if we saved room for dessert, I was surprised my guy actually asked if they had banana pudding (it's a favorite from his childhood, having been born and raised for a time in Arkansas). We both ordered the banana pudding. I thought it was decent, certainly tasty; my guy said it "wasn't like Mom made, but it was okay." The building is full of music memorabilia, bright, with a really nice vibe to it. We will...
Read moreNever got to try to eat food left after almost an hour and a half didn't have our first order 40 mins later they came out and told us and. We ordered something else on the spot and had never been to the restaurant before, so we were pointing out the guitars on the wall above the table that had become empty while we ordered for the second time. And we waited about 30 mins later I noticed that both the tables that was empty at the tome of us putting in our second order ( that was sandwiches fries and fried okra) not only had people at them but those people had beers and appetizers already in front of them . I asked for the check, willing to pay for my drinks, and still waited about 7 mins for the check while they came rushing out with our food at the end of the 7 mins . Which mind you pissed me off at thay point because if you could of had my simple meals (since BBQ is pre-made) out any time in the past 30 mins or so and made us a priority or rushed our second order like it should have been all the tables that had been sat after me wouldn't have been finished with there meals and new people wouldn't have been eating there meals and appetizers. I'll just go to Whippoorwill or just skip just in case staff gets moved between restaurants. Doesn't matter how your food tastes the service that we received on Saturday, it was enough to make me never...
Read moreTonight was my second visit to the Rib Room. We were greeted and seated promptly my a courteous staff member. All of the empty tables were clean the floor was cleaned and both bathrooms were clean. I ordered half a rack of ribs onion rings and their barbecue beans. My husband ordered their pulled chicken sandwich with french fries and barbecue beans. Our orders were not only taken promptly but arrived promptly as well. The food was hot and well presented. Now on to the flavor, chicken is difficult to cook as it tends to dry out easily. My husband's chicken was slightly dry with a very intense smoke flavor and seasoned wonderfully. The hand cut fries were amazing. The barbecue beans we're good just different from our usual preference. His meal was served with a dill pickle slice. The half rack of ribs I ordered were dry as requested. They used a good tasting rub with a nice crust on the outside. These ribs were bang on!!!! I even considered ordering another half rack to take home for a midnight snack. The onion rings we're good with a nice crispy tempura batter. My dinner plate was served with a whole jalapeno. This is a place my husband and I will definitely be returning to. And I look forward to bringing friends and family that come to the area to visit into the rib room to enjoy their fabulous food. You won't regret stopping in for a...
