Even with all the renovations in the changing of the restaurant the prices are outrageous for the portions that you receive. Like the small cup queso with a sprinkle of chorizo for 11.00 priced over the top. The chimichanga for a lot of money, everywhere else you get two good sized chimichangas for the same price and they're way better tasting and prepared. My burrito for 14.00 is all rice nothing much of anything else. It's a rip off. It comes with nothing and isn't worth the price. The rice tasted as of it's been sitting in a rice cooker for 12 hours and definitely wasn't fresh and very bland no seasoning. The ice tea is expensive also was very weak and see through like it was watered down or not made correctly. Tea is not expensive to make. Plus the atmosphere could be a heck of a lot more inviting and personable. The server we had my husband and I was horrible she was slow, rude, inattentive and just seemed to be bother to have to be waiting on us. She never checked on us after the food was delivered after we waited 15-20 minutes for our food that came out luke warm at best. She didn't want to have to wait for us to finish our meals and was very very pushy and seemed super agitated to have to do her job. With her being so horrendously rude and aggravated and unprofessionally pushy we just got to go containers for our food. When we got our bill there was a charge for using your debit or credit card which I thought was illegal to do so if you paid cash you got a better deal so the waitress besides being pushy and aggravated and unprofessionally rude she didn't get a very good tip because I wasn't going to pay her a good tip and pay $3 for a charge for using my debit card. Which I believe is illegal but it seems anything goes at this mediocre want to be Mexican restaurant. We'll never return I'll go across town to Pepper's their Mexican restaurant is a lot more professional and inviting, the food is more delicious and work the money, I'll spend my hard earned money there instead. I'll make sure everyone i know and come in contact with knows to go somewhere else instead of wasting their money. Pepitos is no Chapalas and never will come close. Stop fronting like you're a fabulous Mexican restaurant when you're no better than going to Taco Bell, you're not fine dining give it up. Never ever again. Waste of time and money...

Where can I start… I have never felt so disrespected by a restaurant employee which in this case is the “manager” Gabrielina, the most unprofessional, arrogant and disrespectful staff member. This is my first and last time going to this place. The manager made me feel like I was trying to steal food or get more food without paying. I ordered the Calamari appetizer and 80% of the plate was breaded jalapeños. Gabrielina came to our table (party of 10) to actively argue and acuse me of eating half of my plate when I told one of the staff members that there was a pretty small portion of Calamari in my plate when it was brought to the table ( I did took a couple of pieces, but not what she said). The fact that she did not tried to de escalate the situation and also wrong profiled our party made me write this review. Gabrielina mocked my boss who was sitting next to me because she had never worked in the restaurant industry before. Gabrielina clapped her hands when I told her that I might never come back to the restaurant and said “I’m glad”. I felt harassed and embarrassed in front of everyone. I’ve never felt like that in a restaurant before. Other than that, the restaurant is beautiful, the food is good and the staff other than the manager, is amazing. Robert Calimano.

In an area where there is a lot of Mexican food available, Pepito's definitely stands out! The food was phenomenal I had myself some Street tacos, some birria tacos, and some Street corn. The street tacos were really good, it was interesting that they came in plastic wrapping and you had to assemble it with the toppings yourself, but fully assembled, the tacos were fantastic! The street corn was really unique, I can't say I ever had something like it before but I'm not complaining! Staff for super friendly, from the front desk lady who brought us to our table to the waiter who brought us our food, everybody was just so nice! The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, although their AC is cranked pretty high haha. They have a nice little waterfall, plenty of TVs for entertainment, the decor is also very nice. My only complaint was that my glass of water tasted like a kitchen sink, but frankly that wasn't enough for me to dock a point. I just hope that any staff who read this just keep in mind to wash and dry the glasses so that I'm not tasting soap in my water.

A wonderful Experience, in a Brand Newly Renovated Gem!

As devoted locals and regulars at Pepitos we've had the pleasure of enjoying countless wonderful dining experiences here. However, what truly makes each visit exceptional is the presence of our beloved server, Alex. His outstanding service and warm personality have us coming back time and time again.

But that's not all – Pepitos recently underwent a renovation, and the result is beautiful. As someone from the restaurant industry having built locations and managing several hundred locations its easy to appreciate what the team has done here. They also have a stage and a nice separate dining room. . The restaurant now boasts a beautiful ambiance that complements the wonderful cuisine perfectly. From the moment we step inside, we are greeted with a sense of warmth and comfort, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Alex, our cherished server, plays an integral role in making our visits truly special. With the restaurant's makeover, his attentive and friendly approach feels even more inviting. It's like being welcomed into the home of a close friend who knows exactly how to make your evening memorable.

From recalling our names to our favorite dishes and drinks, Alex's memory continues to astonish us. Even amidst the renovated surroundings, his ability to provide personalized service remains unparalleled. On one occasion, we were reminiscing about a particular meal we had enjoyed weeks ago but couldn't quite remember all the details. Without skipping a beat, Alex came to our rescue, reminding us of every element of that delightful dining experience. It's as if he has a photographic memory specifically for our preferences!

Beyond the delectable cuisine and the restaurant's inviting ambiance, it's Alex's genuine care and passion that truly set Pepitos apart. He goes above and beyond to make us feel cherished and pampered during every visit, ensuring that each moment spent here is nothing short of extraordinary.

As loyal regulars, we wholeheartedly recommend Pepitos to everyone. The renovated gem, complemented by the warm and attentive service of the entire team, makes dining here an experience beyond compare. If you want an unforgettable culinary journey accompanied by a truly beautiful ambiance and the warmest hospitality, make sure to ask for Alex when you visit. We're already looking forward to our next delightful...
