My fiance & I visited the rooftop for our first time Saturday, we loved the vibe but we were disappointed with our service. We both work in the restaurant industry so we are very familiar with the expectations & steps taken for a great experience. To start, our server seemed like he was in a rush & we felt like we didn't get the ”quality service” we were expecting from a DOPE SPOT LIKE THIS ONE. We were greeted without bev naps & NEVER RECEIVED BEV NAPS AT ANYTIME DURING OUR VISIT, we were served our drinks without straws, the second round of drinks were served by another team member WITH STAWS! We ordered our first round of drinks & food at the same time, my fiance was sure he forgot to send our order to the kitchen but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. As time went by & our second round of drinks were served, we did tell him ”we are just waiting on our food”, he ignored us the rest of the time. Finally, we noticed that the cook had set our food in the window & waited for him to acknowledge that (after flagging him down) & reminding him a second time that we were waiting on our food which was sitting in the window for 10 minutes, he brought the chicken sandwiches over & they were hard to eat, SOMETHING WAS WAY OFF IN THOSE SANDWICHES. After 2 bites we told him we didn't want the sandwiches & we were ready to cash out, we didn't even care about paying for the food we didn't eat, we were just ready to find some food at 12am! Our DRINKS WERE INCREDIBLE, THE PLACE WAS SOOO DOPE we just really gave up on anything else the rooftop had to offer. Although our first time wasn't the best, I told my fiance ”I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO COMING BACK TO SIT IN THE OPENED AREA & GIVING IT ANOTHER TRY”. I hope that the steps our server takes next time is equal to everyone he serves. He had a arm brace so maybe he was struggling, but first step to a greet is making sure we have A BEV NAP, such a...
Read moreJust got asked to leave Connor’s rooftop bar. Manager(I’m assuming) came up to our table after we had sat down and told us “ I can’t have you guys sitting here or up here at all. I don’t know the circumstances but one of my waitresses is uncomfortable and we can’t serve you.” I know the exact waitress that was uncomfortable. Her name is Olivia(not using last name for her sake)and she is my boyfriend’s ex that dated him between us being on a 6 month break and I did admittedly had some issues with her cyber stalking and called her out virtually. So you’re telling me that I can’t go out on a date night with my boyfriend that she dated for TWO MONTHS because she is too childish to have somebody else serve us in her workplace or hell, even serve us herself? Beyond childish and unprofessional. Let alone to ask us to do so in front of other patrons when we have not caused any issues at this point in time and all of the drama happened well over 1.5 years...
Read moreBloodymary is not much to speak of. As far as strength, it's average to strong if that's what you're after. The traditional flavors all pop pretty well except to the point where the tomato can nolonger be tasted. The balance of tertiary flavors is actually really good... if I got this again I would bring my own tomato juice to add. Presentation was pretty meek to say the least. Glass was small for a $10 drink - served with one olive. Maybe that's supposed to be classy like this? My inclination was backed by a boisterous response from the table stating That this was the "weakest looking bloodymary we've ever seen" an not the flavor or volume to back it up. Since writing this I've heard there is a "loaded bloodymary " which is quite the opposite in presentation... so we may be back to see what that's about but as far as traditional bloodymary goes in Fort Wayne, this one isn't it. We give it...
