We paid 200 dollars for a section so we could sit down which we didn’t have an issue paying that but then there were ppl who also had a section next to us and didn’t pay anything. Then we were told there was no hookah when we wanted to order. That was the reason we came because half of the ppl weren’t drinking which is why we didn’t get a bottle. Had we known that we wouldn’t have came. Then to make things worse the bartenders service is awful… it took over 30 mins to ever get one of them to take your drink order. Very slow and unorganized. The older lady was just rude. She’d ask ppl “are you tipping” before even taking orders. Like ma’am you take 5 mins to make one drink and ignore customers and then you greet them like that? The cover charge varies based on who the ladies at the entrance know. Five people get in for free, and then I will be charged a random amount. The first time I went, they let my friend in for free, but I was charged $10. Last night, an hour before closing, the people in front of me were let in for free, and the young lady told me and my friend that the cover charge was $20. 😆 I don't go out often, and I support black businesses, but there needs to be an end to this inconsistency in treatment and pricing based off of favoritism, nepotism, and the whim of the person letting people in. The place was nice and chill but I will not be going back because I feel like the bartender was pressuring me for tips, it was extremely uncomfortable. As soon as she had poured my drinks she goes "your not going to tip me" I'm like I'm not even done drinking for the night. she goes "but still I just poured you all these drinks" She was extremely confrontational and kept saying "ok ok well I just poured you all these drinks" each time I went up there and when I was done for the night and I did tip her I explained why her tip was small.
