Very upset!! My first time ordering Panera for delivery. First off, food was cold upon arrival. My husband and I each got the “pick two” with two sandwiches and two soups. I was given the wrong soup & my husband was given the wrong sandwich. I got my chips as a side and he got an apple. The apple wasn’t in the bag. They also offer you a free bakery item the first time you order online, I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and that wasn’t in the bag either. We called 3 times using the option to “speak with an associate or manager” with no answer. Called a 4th time and used the “to place an order” option and they finally answered almost immediately. Whoever we spoke to was very rude and didn’t seem to grasp we were missing items from our order. She instead tried shifting the blame to the delivery driver because the food was cold. She claimed it was DoorDashes fault and we needed to take it up with them, but we didn’t use DoorDash..we ordered through Paneras website so Im not sure how we’re supposed to be compensated for this. Read moreI give it two stars only because it was clean. I worked at a different Panera and I have no idea how this place hasn't gotten a call from upper management. The cashiers don't even smile at you, and I've seen them texting in plain sight of guests. On December 28th around 2pm I ordered a salad with the green goddess dressing and a hot tea. The hot water had been sitting out since 5:30am, and is supposed to be changed every 4hrs to prevent bacteria growth. When I got my salad, I noticed something chunky in what should be a smooth dressing. I asked the cashier (as there were no employees in the dining room) and he talked to line. They didn't come out to talk to me, but rather had me get up and yell over the counter to tell me that someone had put feta cheese into the dressing this morning by accident. How was that dressing still being served at 2pm?! I got no apology for the mistake, just an excuse. I asked for another salad and they made it, but I got no compensation as they teach in all the online training, and still never got an apology. Read moreDid a online mobile pick up. The app said my food would be ready by 1:22. I got there at 1:15 and waited untill 1:50. I had to leave because my lunch break was ovet and needed to get back yo work. I then called and talked to the manager working (Shanta) and she said that online orders get pushed back because of in store customers. With i think is completely outrageous i am a paying customer also. I then told her i need my order canceled she said ok and hung up on me. I then called back. Same manager answered the phone again and said i can cancel the order online at mypanera.com well i couldnt find it. So i had to call back again. Talked to the same manager. She then finally asked for my last name on the 3rd phone call and finally got my order canceled. I dont know how you train your manager panera bread but this is not very good customer service from your manager. Very unhappy with the way i was treated today.
