I think it was Sarah that was our bartender. She/they were wonderful. The whole place is wonderful. Totally accepting. We went for live music on a late Thursday in December on a trip from Baltimore. There was no live music, but usually there is. It was even better tho because we met John and Lindsey? And all these other people. Whose names I forget . And Sarah was able to put together the best French 75 I have ever had because they happened to have champagne for the holidays! It was a whole win-win thing. Anyway, cool bar in a cool neighborhood in a cool city. Definitely a place making Ft. Wayne better.

Great atmosphere, very fun! Paintings and decorations on walls offer different vibes depending on where you are looking, but it all fits together. The space is small and a bit squished, especially with a band and a crowd, but there is still room to sit and move around. We went on a Saturday night and watched 3 bands (pictured is Chewy Lucas) it was a great time!

Good music and support local bands. They have chips but this is not a place for food. If you want to listen to music, lots of local bands play here. It is close quarters. There's mostly seats around the bar. Mostly if you are listening to the band, you stand. There's actually more seating outside.

so for some reason towards end of the night, after having only 2 drinks, barely talking to anyone in my friend group and quietly chilling the night away, bartender decides to cut me off with no explanation, the second after i ordered a drink, he then gives me a water, and im like huh, wheres my drink, he let me know i was cut off, i was super confused and thought maybe he had me confused with someone else, but i guess according to him, he didnt. he was a real jerk to me like i did something wrong. so whatever, well give me my money back i just gave you for my drink, this was a problem for him and it took me arguing some common sense into him that he owed me my money back or there was gonna be a problem for the establishment.. idk between that and the possibility of going missing here, its not worth the visit anymore, gross...

The Rail has been one of my spots for years. I've been there to support local music (friends music) more times than I can count. Last night a local musician and I stopped by, like any routine night out. The bar was busy, but acts were done playing, so a majority of people were leaving. My girlfriend ordered a cocktail and the bartender told her he "would make the God Damn mixdrink". Confused by the response we asked what the problem was. He said he was too busy. He never apologized for how he spoke to her even stating "I have the right to deny service to anyone and can speak to them however I choose". When I confronted him about being rude he kicked me out and gave me my money back. Good luck ever getting my money or my friends...
