Our experience here was incredibly disappointing. We came here for a birthday celebration, reservations were at 4:30pm. We arrived on time and checked in, and the person at the front desk explained there was a mistake and they actually had a reservation for us at 5pm. We showed our reservation email to confirm 4:30pm. They explained the issue and we agreed to wait. We noticed two lanes of bowling were open at 4:15pm on arrival, but they said those lanes were reserved. They did offer us appetizers in exchange for our patience and it was good. That was all great, however, at 5pm, we saw two groups come in at 5pm and they were placed immediately. At 5:15 we walked up to the desk and explained that we were supposed to be at our lane at 5pm. They seemed confused, said they need to clean up the lane before we can go (at this point there are no open lanes except the 2 they said were already reserved). We had a group of 8, and all the staff except our waitress, were very dismissive of our concerns. We at this point asked to speak to the manager. While we waited, we had two people come up and offer us to be seated at the two lanes we were told we can’t use (that have been opened since we arrived). We have dinner reservations at 6:30 and had to pay a full price for the hour and a half lane so we at this point were uninterested in staying at all with only 45minutes to use the lanes. The manager came over and said “you can use these other lanes. That would be fine.” And we said we didn’t want to stay because it was supposed to be ready at 4:30pm then 5pm and now it’s well after 5pm. The staff all gave us nasty looks as we left. I would not recommend this place at all. They said they would send us a gift certificate as compensation that we still have not received. We were ungodly disappointed for a...
Read moreWent to Pinhouse this past Friday evening for our quarterly friend couples date night and while we started off truly enjoying the whole evening/experience (evening buying an extra 30 minute of bowling), the night ended with such a sour taste in our mouths I’m not sure we’ll return. We were point blank lied to by our server about gratuity being added or not after she ran our cards, telling us “she gets none of the gratuity” so she made sure not to add it, and then frantically searched for the manager for 15 minutes only to return and tell us he/she was in a meeting and couldn’t come out to print off our itemized bills…she then brought over a menu for couple to add up their own food and beverage items with the 3.5% card fee & all our totals were definitely off from the original bills. When the panic set in, She looked at us and said she had been off for over 90 minutes and just wanted to go home and would give money back or whatever she needed to to fix it but at that we all ) (Kinda shocked) so no it’s fine because At that point we had already signed our bills and all tipped her ANOTHER 20% tip (on top of 20% gratuities she swore wasn’t on there) All to say beware of your itemized bills and the total your cards are swiped for!!! This was such a bad way to end our evening- especially on top of $60 in...
Read moreWe went to the grand opening, at The Fairfield, last Thursday, and It was amazing. There is so much for everyone to do. Not only can you play duckpin bowling, you can also play darts, karaoke, golf, corn hole, and ALL ages are welcome. I watched a three year old bowl better than most adults. The food is wonderful. There are different menus, depending on which floor you decide to spend your time on. We grabbed a booth on the Duckpin Bowl floor, and the only problem I had, was I’m old, and it was a little loud, because of the bowling. The taste, quality and quantity of the food made up for it though. I had a taco salad that was sooo good. My husband had a burger and said it was great, and my friend had the loaded potato skins, that looked fantastic. Prices you can’t beat. I decided I’m going to have something different, every time I go there, till I’ve tried everything on the menu. Nate and David definitely have a “Winner” when it comes to The Fairfield. Go see for yourself. Trust me, you...
