Our experience with Chilis today was horrible. We have not been to this Chilis in a long time. It was around 2:45pm. My husband, children and I went to eat. The place was not busy like lunch or dinner time. We waited to be seated. There was not a hostess there but there was a waiter talking to someone. Instead of having customer service and say hello someone will be with you. He look at us (made face contact to both of us) and continued talking to the other waiter. We finally sat down to wait because no one was coming. Then that same waiter came to seat us to our table. We waited for about another 5-7 minutes for the waiter to come. We notice that for some reason they didn't want to wait our table. I really think now it was racial profiling and they thought they were not going to get a tip. I have never in my life experienced this until today. Well the same waiter saw that no one was getting our table so he finally got our table. He had terrible customer service like it was a drag to serve us. I told my husband are you seeing what I'm seeing he said yes. Crazy thing is this waiter German Sa says on receipt is the same race as us. We were finished eating he never came by to give ticket he was talking to another person. I told my husband just pay through the kiosk service on table. Thank God they had that! I got up first with two of my children and my husband finished paying. I asked my husband did German ever come over and tell you "Thank you" or "did you pay". NOTHING. My husband said he continued talking to man. Totally ignored us! My husband left him a 15% tip so he will not say we are cheap and we dont tip if he had that misconception. He did not deserve anything! Crazy service today! I never do reviews but today this waiter and Chili's was something else. We regret not addressing the issue face to face. All I have to say dont judge a book by its cover if that was the case. I'm a financial agent and my husband owns his business. We are not cheap with waiters. We understand that they are working and need to provide for their families. Today was a day off for us. For the past 3 weekends I have been utilizing Chili's to Go & my experience have been horrible😔😔 and each time I ordered my price was different😡 1.First week food was made incorrectly twice but Manager corrected the problem with a gift card for less than what my food cost but hey he tried, so I decided to give them another try.
Second week food was made incorrectly, fries cold, old & hard. I ordered the same exact 3 for Me meals and the price increased by $5. I questioned no answer. I was in a rush so charged it to the game & didn't leave a tip.
Third week food made incorrectly, ordered same 3 for me & added a triple dipper, price increase by $9. I inquired while I was on the phone placing my order, told the price was correct & a ticket will be provided with pick up. I placed the same order in the Chili's app price $9 less. I inquired while picking up food, showed the prices in app. I was told by Elvis that's just they way it is we are told to charge for a bacon burger not an old timer with bacon. I said so you all are overcharging customer. Elvis shrugged his shoulders & proceed to tell me the total for my food. I paid & left without tipping again. Final straw. I will not be back Chili's on Clifford sells sub par food, has horrible customer service & overcharges that's more than enough for me to take my business else where🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️!
Updates!!!!! My family and I went at 10 PM on a Saturday night we were immediately seated and had the best server Coby. Coby was very attentive and detail oriented. I wish all servers had the work ethic of Coby. The food was good also but that customer service provided by Coby was 5 star. Thank you Coby for.making our dining experience so positive. Read moreBeen coming to this particular Chilis for a few months since I moved into Fort Worth, probably been at least 12 time in the past 6 months. Tonight was a little odd even for recent events “COVID” I know staffing issues have been a issue nation wide and completely understand that wait time are going to be a little longer but after being sat with in 20 mins of being there I though tonight was going to be great service and be in and out quick as usual. But after ordering our drinks and food with in 5 mins of sitting down we waited 35 mins for our food to come out and after seeing 2 other tables that were sat down after us, ours finally came and brought by another waiter, but sadly the food was cold both the chicken crispers and the burger were colder than room temperature. After telling the waitress, she immediately took the old plate of chicken crispers and got me a new hot plate with fries in a matter of minutes. Wondering how did it take over half an hour to get food then be able to make my meal in less than 5 mins. Coming to the end were leavening and paying on the tablets as usual and the waitress is hovering around us and after I pay and was about to click no receipt myself she asks. “ Do you want a receipt, if not hit the no receipt and take your card out. Hand me the tablet so I can get it out of your way.” Then proceeds to tell us that she “likes to fill out her own surveys” leading us to come to YELP cause as a customer I should have the option to give my opinion about the restaurant and the staff.
