I ate here on March 9 (?) about 7:00-8:00 p.m. I brought my two granddaughters (14 and 19) and my wife's ex (they are still on good terms and he is still a big and good part of the granddaughter's lives). The oldest granddaughter (Tyllerie, about 19-20) is in the Army Reserve and about to go to Kosovo for a year. I brought her here as it is the closest thing I could find to Kosovan/Albanian culture. She has not been out of the country before and I thought this might help her acclimate once she is in country.
Bottom line: the food is good and tasty and the buffet is LARGE. Lots of choices. I don't think the food is quite as tasty as some other Mediterranean places I have been, but don't let that put you off. It is still very good. The first thing the granddaughters noticed is that the food is very healthy and fresh. Tyllerie liked most, if not all, of it, while the 14-year-old (a picky eater) did find a few things she liked, particularly the spiral pasta. I think neither had ever been to a Mediterranean restaurant before, so this was all new to them, but they enjoyed it. I think Tyllerie is a lot more comfortable with the idea of going to Kosovo, now that she knows that she might actually like the food there.
I have eaten at a lot of Mediterranean places in my life, and I very much enjoyed the place, which is open and airy and clean (including the restrooms) and there is a large variety of dishes including three kinds of hummus, lamb, and curry. The food is very good and the prices (about $20/person) very reasonable considering what you get. I will definitely be coming back when I can, with or without the family. Plenty of parking also. Seating is comfortable. My only reservation about what I had was that the rose water was sweeter than what I have had before. I think it would have been better without so much sugar and a few other flavorings. The baklava was quite tasty, though the pieces were a little small. I recommend this place highly. Unfortunately, I took no photos this time, but I am sure other reviewers have taken...
Read moreThis was a difficult review. I’ve been looking forward to going to this place ever since a friend of mine discovered it a couple of months ago. So when I came to the Fort Worth area we went here on my first night in town. I am Armenian. I love Mediterranean food! The food here was excellent! The chicken kebabs were a little dry and the falafel was like hockey pucks, but everything else was spot on, fresh and plentiful. The buffet has a huge selection and it was always being replenished. So while this place gets five stars for food, it only gets three stars for restaurant management and service. We were there an hour and a half. During that time table after table after table filled up with dirty dishes and no one was busing tables. By the time we left, people were coming in and looking for clean tables. There were several men walking around who obviously worked there, but apparently none of them felt it was their job or it was beneath them to clean tables. Also they ran out of ice tea and no one filled it. They ran out of napkins and it took forever for someone to come and fill it. They even almost ran out of silverware, but eventually someone came and filled that. In the ladies room there were three stalls. One was out of order, one was plugged up, and the other had no toilet paper. I’m not even sure they put in toilet paper after I complained. Good food. Awful management. I really wanted to give this place three stars, but it wouldn’t be fair to the food and the people...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Dimassi in Fort Worth, Texas, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff made sure to put a smile on my face, and the reception was exceptional.
As a hungry visitor, I was thrilled to discover that Dimassi offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious food. From appetizers to desserts, their menu had something for everyone. One of the best parts was that the food was freshly cooked, which added to the overall flavor and quality.
Dimassi is also an excellent choice for those seeking halal food options. They have an extensive selection of meats, including chicken, fish, and beef, all of which were super delicious. Additionally, the variety of salads and desserts was truly impressive.
The restaurant itself is spacious and perfect for gatherings with family and friends. Whether you prefer a cozy corner or a large table, Dimassi provides plenty of seating options to accommodate everyone. The ample parking available is another bonus, making it convenient for anyone visiting the restaurant.
In conclusion, my experience at Dimassi was nothing short of amazing. The combination of freshly cooked, delicious food, a welcoming ambiance, and friendly staff made it an exceptional dining experience. I highly recommend Dimassi to anyone looking for a fantastic halal food place in Fort...
