I just called to put in a catering order and if it wasn't a friends of mine birthday, I would not be continuing this order. A rep by the name of Eric who was on the closing shift on 08-01-2018, answered the phone to take my order. He quickly let me know he has shut down the catering area but he will take my order and give it to the morning crew. That was fine. I am not familiar with Jason's Deli's sandwiches so when I was trying to explain what I wanted he asked how many people I would be feeding. I told him 16 only because it is 8 of us so I was thinking everyone could get two sandwiches with this order ( I was looking at the sliders when I decided this). He told me that the total was $114 dollars. I told him the one I was looking at is $40.00. He then proceeded to say, "I need you to be more specific with what you want because you said box now your saying a tray, you wanted 16 but only have 8 people." In a very rude tone might I add. I told him that I am sorry he is ready to go home (it was 9:54pm and they close at 10:00) and I'm not familiar with their terminology but if you have been doing Catering orders for as many years as he told me, then he should be able to help me with what I'm needing off of the website. I told him that he was being rude and hung up out of anger. I called right back to speak to a manager and they did not answer my call. I called from a different number, that they answered, and spoke to the Manager of the night I believe her name was Lisa. I explained to her what happened and she just asked to take my order. She did help me by looking online and told me that it is a tray of sliders, but she did not seem as if she cared of how rude Eric was to me. There were no apologies and 9 times out of 10 no actions taken. I feel as if this was not handled correctly and it's okay to be rude to people when it's time to close. Where I work which is a building who orders from Jason's Deli frequently, I will be...
Read moreThis is my very first time writing a review about a restaurant but I felt I had to. We used to go often to this place before covid but not anymore! We were excited to go after not being there for a while. However, we were very disappointed with the serve, food, and the bad attitude. The stuff was really disrespectful and did not seem to care about customers at all. We were not aware at all of the weird new single trip salad bar rule. Something like that should be clearly indicated on the menu AND mentioned to the customer when they pay. Not by putting a little sign in front of the cashier, and following people to the bar to tell them to stop eating!!! My husband put literally 2 eggs in his plate and I filled half of my plate with green mix and some dressing on top. My husband went to exchange our plates as we used to do and the guy told us you can't eat from the bar anymore. We stood with our plates next to the bar not knowing what is going on. Then, another stuff came and told us you can't eat anymore from the bar. I told her my husband just put two eggs. Before she even let me finish telling her about my plate, she said your husband can put more but you can't!!! We felt we were begging for food that we already paid for ( $20 for 2 eggs and small salad!) In addition, it took them forever to get the kids two sandwich orders. We kept seeing the order on the counter and nobody is bringing it to us. Maybe because they were super busy watching who goes to the bar for a second time. It is such a shame to treat...
Read moreI have ordered the chicken salad before and it was good. This time it was awful. My croissant was burnt around the edges and the bottom and sides of it was also soggy. Soggyvto the point I had to peel it off. Gross. Who wants wet soggy bread, especially a croissant. The chicken salad really had no taste. I had to eat what I could on whatever piece of croissant was left from the soggy pieces. Needless to say most had to be eaten with fork. SEVERAL empty spots on the salad bar. There was a worker standing back there who seemed perturbed that people were coming to the salad bar. Clearly she had started cleaning up early for the night. It was only about 920. Guess it's more important to finish quickly than to make sure people buying salads could get all items provided on normal basis. I drive over 8 miles to get this food and was disappointed in the sandwich, which now at this moment seems to have given me heartburn. Disappointed in the lack of variety, except the regular salad items, on the bar. I won't visit this location again. Thought I could upload the pics but don't see a...
