My first stop was the dated bathroom: resembled a filthy truck stop. Auto soap dispensers, auto flush, most of these were out of order. I should have known from that point but I carried on.
Tried to sit down to eat: only open tables had not been bussed properly and had crumbs on the tables. As there were no host or servers at this area I had to wipe down myself. We were not acknowledged for over ten minutes and gave up trying to eat/drink there. The food was highly priced and did not match the lack of service provided.
Tried to play the games: 4 kiosks to purchase new game cards and only one that was working, so we were all waiting for the one machine. Purchased a new game card, which has a one time $3 charge to activate. The machine gave me a used card, whose magnetic strip was severely scratched. It was so damaged that at each swipe, at each game, it continuously said “try again”.
Finally gave up and tried to get some help with the “new” game card. Girls at the bar were friendly and led me to the right direction. Prize area had only one person and a line wrapping around the room so I went to the front desk. 4 stations but only two people and one of them just kept looking at me and walking back and forth waiting for the other one to finally help. They finally acknowledged me and when I told them what happened they were completely disinterested. Finally I asked for a full refund and they pointed with their finger at a manager behind them and one far away walking away. He told me to go get one of them instead of helping. Then he left and started eating some pizza behind him. I stayed waiting for someone to actually help. Manager Anita came by and after explaining the poor experience she did make it right issuing the refund but it went no further than that. She looked at the card and could see it damaged, which she called “upcycled”. Nice.
First and last time, they were heavily staffed but employees were too busy eating and chatting to actually help the clientele. Try another location if you absolutely must.
UPDATE: I recently attended a party here and everything ran smoothly, I don’t think the one star is fair anymore. We were helped quickly during various points of the visit. Noticed a few games and kiosk features still out of order, but other than that we had...
Read moreMy husband and I went to main event to have a date night, the things to do there are fun but the staff lacks customer service. Managers were rude, staff is terrible. It is even more frustrating because my husband and I are easy people but if we asked for help they seemed annoyed to help, we asked if we could order drinks and food and the manager said she’d send a server over and we waited for the server for over 45 minutes. When he finally came we asked if we could see a menu and he rolled his eyes and went to grab one and when he brought it to us he said “I’ll give y’all a minute to look over it” then never came back. Then we were asked to move pool tables for a repair needed but which is okay, but the way we were asked was extremely unprofessional and rude and this was coming from a manager. Then a short while later another manager came up to us and asked how long we’ve been playing we told him we been here but haven’t got to play because we were asked to move twice and he told us to put ourself back on the waitlist because he had people waiting, we finished our game and put ourself back on the list and went to do other things now 2 hours have passed and they said the wait was about an hour so I asked how much longer we needed to wait and they said “we already tried to contact you” when I had revived no message at all. We finally get to play again and not even 15 minutes later another employee came up to us and said we needed to go because our time was up and that’s when I informed them we just got here. He rolled his eyes and said he’d go verify that and just never came back. Overall, I had a good time at the place and enjoyed myself but the customer service made the experience horrible not sure if I’d return to...

Review: Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable night at Main Event in Fort Worth South. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere set the stage for a fun-filled adventure. The variety of activities offered something for everyone in our group.
The state-of-the-art arcade had a fantastic selection of games, catering to both classic and modern tastes. Whether competing for high scores or collecting tickets for prizes, the arcade provided hours of enjoyable competition and camaraderie.
The bowling lanes were well-maintained, and the staff was both friendly and helpful. It's a great spot for both casual bowlers and those looking for a more competitive edge. The cosmic bowling added an extra layer of excitement, creating a dynamic and visually stunning experience.
The dining options were diverse, and the food exceeded expectations. The menu offered a range of choices, from appetizers to full meals, ensuring there was something to satisfy every craving. The service was prompt, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed for a delightful evening.
