Koe Wetzel's Riot Room — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Visited last night during our Halloween outing and overall our experience last night was fine for the time we actually planned to get there. I did find it odd they only changed the males for weapons which is almost like not checking? Women carry weapons too, and a lot more discrete. That’s just a side comment to my actual review. I left my card in the serving book after paying for a round of drinks (totally my fault and I accept that). I didn’t notice until hours later and went back to try to get it but the bar was at capacity or for whatever reason I couldn’t enter (I was not drunk, stumbling anything - I had one drink all night). I was ready to leave so I went home and came back today to get the card. I froze the card and called it a night.

Next day (10/29) I attempted to call the number listed on the Google address and it screeched as if it was a fax #. I checked other avenues of finding a phone number to confirm it was there. I couldn’t find one so I made the over an hour drive to the bar to be told THEY SHREDDED THE CARD. I totally understand bars not wanting to hold on to a million cards BUT THE NIGHT AFTER THE HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION FOR THE WHOLE BLOCK? Beyond disappointed and irritated. This place is a riot...

... Definitely order a Hurricane shot and a Baby bird shot. These are a must, don't ask what they are just do it.

We popped in after eating brunch nearby. The main bar inside was full but there was a spot open at the bar outside. Within about 5 minutes we were able to move inside with our drinks. They have heaters outside and table seating with benches and truck tailgates folded down with cushions.

Only downside that we saw to this place was no draft beer. However, they have a good selection of bottle/canned beer. I usually prefer canned beer to bottled beer so that is nice.

Upon sitting inside the folks next to us had ordered the beer can chicken. It looked really tasty. On the other side of us were a few gentleman enjoying their Sunday funday.

One of them ordered a Hurricane shot and it definitely rocked his world. It got quite a reaction from everyone at the bar.

A little while later someone ordered a Baby Bird shot and it was also quite a spectical.

When we come back in town we will be back. While there make sure you check out the scenery in the bathroom. A+ work there.

My brother and I visited last night. Absolutely horrible experience with the bar staff. My brother got water from the bar on 3 separate occasions and on one the bar staff CHARGED him for water cups. I’ve never been to a bar or restaurant that charges for a flimsy cup of water. We’re happy to pay for actual bottles of water. Not only did he get charged for water cups, but he paid the bartender with a $20 bill and the bartender refused to return his $13 change and immediately placed it into his tip jar when his attention was averted. My brother was alerted by what had just occurred because another couple at the bar witnessed it and told him. There was no consideration for him as a guest. We’d purchased actual drinks throughout the night. On a second occasion, a member of the bar staff gave him water, free of charge, then told my brother that they were no longer going to serve him because he was not tipping for the water. They then proceeded to ignore him the rest of the night. I’m disappointed by our experience and plan to take our business elsewhere in the future. Be warned about visiting this bar, they’ll charge for water cups and steal...
