Visited Sunday April 16th. This was the worst experience ever. I have been there before when Sunday Brunch was downstairs. I invited about 5 other ladies to go this time. Where do I start. First the furniture and tables were not clean, dusty and sticky. Continually ran out of food which made line even longer. At NO time was there 30 items on that buffet. Twice there were no plates. There was no server/staff at omelet bar or on line for assistance. Probably because he was trying to help the other one get food from the kitchen downstairs. Food wasn't tasteful and the mimosas, that we paid extra for, were nothing more than a lot of juice. Heard one lady say she had bad experience and she was putting her reviews on Yelp. There was soooo much uneaten food on the plates you could have fed the homeless. I'm sure because it wasn't good at all. No one was bussing the tables until around 230 which made plates on top of plates on top of plates sitting on the tables. I was highly disappointed since I had invited these other ladies especially after seeing the article on Facebook and telling them to read it. Unbelievable. I couldn't apologize to them enough. I could see waiting in long line and the food being plentiful hot fresh and good. Management issue. Lack of workers for a Sunday, or any, Brunch. Ohh and lastly since my stomach was a little upset from the juice mimosas and cold tasteless food I asked for cup of water as I was leaving. Walked downstairs got outside and then the young white boy standing outside on the front told me I couldn't leave with my water and took it from me. WOW. REALLY. Water?? None of the bartenders or girl at front table, who was passing out samples of some sort of drink, said anything as I walked by with the clear plastic cup. Needless to say I was still hungry when I left. If it wasn't for the fruit and chips n cheese sauce, I would not have really had...

So this review is just my experience at the door tonight... So u know we bar hopping with no problems.. I get to Texas republic and one of the door guys was checking outfit prior to me walking up.. so I knew this was going to be an issue... he walks over to the other guys says something to him they both look at and he continues to check IDs..
I get to the door in a "white tee shirt long length with a red undershirt" & the door guy goes we can't let u in with a white tee... As I look thru the door 6 guys had on basic tee and white tees... So look and behold who comes out the door with a guy in white tee and walks right out.. NO UNDERSHIRT OR NOTHING...
The door guy goes " OH HE BROUGHT A BOTTLE" SOOO... How u know he brought a bottle and u outside ??? not to downplay your job but you are just the bouncer at the front door. why is it your business to know who's buying bottles and ur outside... ???? Soooooo upon waiting for another friend who was in the club to come out... Walks in 3 other guys with white tees nothing else on !!
Sooo then the door guy comes over to me and is like u can take off ur shirt and come in with a basic red tee shirt ??? WHATS THE DIFFERENCE.. if the shirt is blue .. green. Purple or yellow ??? ITS STILL A TEE-SHIRT???.. I just told him no I don't spend my money at establishment that don't respect me and my fashion... I'm good I'll just inform others because my voice and keyboard will say everything that needs to be said !!! HAVE A GREAT NIGHT..
If y'all are going to have such a strict dress there needs to be a big sign u can point too and not just randomly pick and choose what is appropriate or not!!
Thanks but u won't ever get my business!!! I'll spend it on white tees and go to the dirty Crow!!
I will continue to spread the word about this...
Read moreMy wife and I bought tickets to the filet & shrip dinner online. Had concerns after looking the place up online since we had already paid for tickets but were noticing by the reviews it was more of a bar/dance club apparently. We decided to give it a chance anyway. HUGE MISTAKE!
The time posted for the event was 6p.m. to 10p.m. We arrived at 6:30ish and noticed quickly the place looked trashy and had mainly early 20's clientele. As we walked in the floor was sticky af. We waited to be greeted for a minute or two and decided let's just go get a table. As we walked to a table we noticed the place was in very rough condition and the floor was very sticky everywhere. The tables were not cleaned off and sticky as well. They even had fruit flies flying around. I looked at my wife and stated "This looks like a bad episode of Bar Rescue".
We waited to see if anyone would come to our table to take an order and quickly realized nobody was concerned with anyone unless they were seated at the bar. We were not approached once in over 15 minutes of deciding weather or not we needed to leave. We requested a refund online after that 15 minutes and left very dissatisfied. Did not even get to try anything drink or food related.
This place is perfect for the drunken & disorderly that lack class. I really do not understand how this place remains in business. If your posting losses every month open up your doors & books and make the call to John Taffer. Maybe he'll help rescue your bar. The rating should be 0 stars instead of 1.
P.s. Don't trust the pictures showing booths with tables. The the upstairs area was closed off and there were no dining tables paired with both seating. Definitely not s place for a nice...
