This is a very nice place to come and visit. Have a celebration. The waitresses are definitely friendly and helpful. What I observed this is a very clean environment. Lots of places to sit. Looks like they have rooms that you can reserve for your special occasions. Well lit and has a wonderful ambiance. The food is very flavorful and Rich. Be careful because the plates are hot when they bring out your food. The menu has a lot to choose from. Today I chose chile rellenos and chicken enchiladas. If you can see the combination of cheeses are ooey gooey. As well as tasty. The chicken enchiladas were oh-so-good with a combination of sour cream and spices for the topping. The salsa! Oh my. For my Pace had just the right amount of bite. The sweet tea is delicious. The lemonade taste reconstituted. The flavor of the beans were awesome. The beans were just a tad bit too firm for me. I have had before sopapillas but none like these. Tender as mother's love. Almost eye rolling good. Topped with honey and butter! Bite that and you might slap somebody. Today on a scale from 1 to 5. I will get you a 4! WORD of the day is! Traditional! The servers are sensational! There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. When you get to the front and see all the stairs. Don't worry honey they have wheelchair access! There is a lot of nostalgia. And plenty of novelty items to look at. Spacious with plenty of room to walkthrough.(for those who are blessed with more than most) If you enjoy my reviews be sure to like and follow.

Ok for a solo person or couple, but not ideal for groups or parties, definitely under staffed and non existent management. Avoid spinach and mushrooms enchiladas. I came here for a group party of 20 + plus people..I've heard good things about this place however..I've got mixed feelings about this place. Keep in mind I came during the week day Service: Not sure how this place runs it's staff however they put just 1 person in charge of our group of 25 people, the poor staff by themself was doing everything from taking orders of food, drinks, helping us with the party. Even having to bring all the food themself. At point forget who drank what type of drink and forgot a food order. By the way brought all the salsa and chips alone to. Management was no where to be found even helping or checking even on our group. Food: I'll say this some of the food was good, the salsa for the chips was descent by a but to watery. One of the orders was a spinach and mushrooms enchiladas..the comment back was definitely under cooked and raw..so I can only assume either the kitchen staff was to busy or no one knows how to make it. Not sure. On the other hand the the brisket tacos were pretty descent. Overall some highs and lows but definitely not a recommendation if you have a group of 10 or more.

After watching the bulls come through the Stockyards, our group of 10+ was looking for a place to cool down and enjoy some good food. You really can’t go wrong with Mexican food in Texas, and Los Vaqueros didn’t disappoint. Despite our large party, we were seated fairly quickly, and the waitstaff took great care of us. Even with the crowd, our food arrived promptly, while the rest of the restaurant remained relatively empty. We ordered the brisket tacos, which were moist and flavorful, though they could definitely benefit from some kind of sauce to elevate the taste. The rice was fantastic, but unfortunately, the beans were underwhelming. The queso was a letdown, it tasted like the powdered, rehydrated kind you get at ballparks, leaving something to be desired. On the bright side, the salsa was excellent and looked freshly made, adding a nice, authentic touch to the meal. Overall, a great experience with room for a few improvements.

Imagine this scenario on your wedding day that you paid your down payment 11 months in advance. We show up to our reception with guests waiting to even enter the reception room. Neither of the special event coordinators were there to greet us. Disorganized and chaos. We were told we would be served first as the bride and groom. We pre-ordered a keg and multiple bottles of wine plus a set bar amount. The bartender tells us we couldn't have ordered a keg because they don't do that. I had to go out to the car to get all my paperwork to show them what we pre-ordered with the owner/so-called event coordinator. I spent the first 15 minutes arguing about our alcohol order. In the meantime, no food is served. My sister and I had to find the manager that told us he had only been manager 3 weeks and didn't know what was going on. We find out from another employee that a party of 19 was being served before our reception of 110 people. We finally get servers to give out chips and salsa. When we finally get our food, the food is cold and the food is served an hour late due to other people parties and one of the special event coordinators shows up to our room after an hour to apologize saying she was at another wedding on site and didn't know about our reception!! My vegetarian guests, including MY daughter who was in the wedding party, didn't get their food for almost an hour and a half after the buffet line actually started. We had no one serving our guests for the first 20 minutes. They prioritized the outside wedding over our reception. Toward the end of the reception, the manager comes and says he has to talk to the owner, Vicki, which is who we had given all of our requests to, and they would bill us later instead of the end of the night. Two months later, Vicki, the owner/special events coordinator sends me an email apologizing and provides us the invoice which is still inadequate considering I spent the entire reception trying to get my own guests fed, tracking down people in charge and being upset on my wedding night. A bartender from the main restaurant part brought me a tequila shot to calm me down. That was insulting and I told her a tequila shot wasn’t going to fix all their screw ups on our special day or get my daughter fed. It was completely disorganized and terrible wedding reception. I’m still mad two months later. Being emailed TWO MONTHS later with an apology and invoice is insulting. We will pay our invoice because we are not free-loaders but I will NEVER give a word of kindness to Vicki the owner/so-called event coordinator for ruining my wedding reception. I don't recommend booking any large special events at this...

I wanted our experience to be better than it was, but it was satisfactory, and is still a favorite place to visit on occasion. Los vaqueros is a great meeting place as the location is prime, right in the stock yards and it has a lot of classic cowboy rustic decor.I spotted a cute plant in a cowboy boot planter in the restroom. Nice touch! Oh, and the restrooms were clean. The food was good enough. We had the fajitas, ordered medium rare, and they came out cooked perfectly, flavor was good, but the texture seemed highly processed. Something. The serving for one, looked small, but was enough for me and my husband to share. (I'm a small eater) The beans were good enough, but I encountered several stale chips, yet the hot sauce was spot on! We all loved the hot sauce! My daughter ordered the avocado enchiladas and loved them too. For dessert, we tried the flan and the Vaquero sundae. The flan was a tiny serving and was flavorless. The V sundae was beautiful, but the ice cream was just ok. Nothing close to a creamy Blue Bell, but the prailines did add flavor to it. Service by Kim, was also satisfactory. She checked in intermittently, ensured our fajita’s were cooked properly, and provided boxes and bags for our left-overs. You can get standard service like that at a fast good establishment, but at a place like this I expected more personable servics. One never knows what another is going through, so grace to her for sure. Overall, we had a good experience. Being a native Fort Worthean, I would recommend a visit as it has a really nice ambiance with a...
