Long story short: they stole $300 from me, no one answers the phone, and corporate is no help.
I have been riding in and wearing Ariat boots and apparel for the last 20 years. After this experience I will be switching to a different brand. On Saturday, September 24 around 4:40 pm I bought a pair Women’s Pearl Western boots in White size 9. I paid for the boots in cash, about $300. This was a HUGE mistake. I highly recommend NOT shopping at this store, but if you do use a credit card so you can dispute the charge if necessary. Since I was in town visiting I decided to have them shipped to my home in Florida. I provided the sales associate with my address, cell number, and email. She stated that the boots may not be shipped out until the following weekend, but ensured I would be getting an email confirmation with the order information and then a follow up email when the boots shipped with tracking information. It has now been almost three weeks and I have received zero communication from the store and I have not received the boots. I have tried calling the store endlessly and they NEVER answer the phone. I have been emailing corporate daily with very limited response. Whenever someone from corporate emails me back they state they they are passing the case along to retail and marking the case as resolved. This case is NOT resolved and it is VERY frustrating that Grady from corporate thinks it is appropriate to mark the case as resolved when nothing has been done. Since I paid for the boots in cash I can not receive a refund (not like the store or corporate would be able to help anyway) and I do not live in the area to visit the store. So basically, the store stole $300 from me and they are refusing to ship out the boots I paid for or contact me regarding my order. Corporate is absolutely zero help; Grady from customer services deserves a grade F as he doesn’t even try to help and just keeps saying the case is “resolved”. Nate who is the regional customer service rep has also failed to get in contact with the store or provide any update. We also spoke with Chris who claims this case has been escalated, but again nothing has been done to actually resolve the issue. This whole experience is ridiculous. Any other company would have shipped me my order by now with a large apology...
Read moreI love the Ariat boots I’ve purchased online or at other vendors, and I understand the store was very busy for Memorial Day, but my mom and I were extremely disappointed by the experience in at Stock Yards this weekend. Only one girl was pulling sizes and the others were standing around the registers not offering to help her or other customers even when the line slowed down. It took almost 30 minutes for the one girl to pull a pair in my size and she was so busy she didn’t have time to find us, but pointed to them when I went over to her for an update on timing. Another pair I liked they didn’t have in my size so I went to the woman at the register to ask if I could order them and she said to check with the girl on the floor who was already swamped finding boots for everyone else. I really love their boots but I’d rather buy them online than barely be acknowledged and experience poor customer service at...
