So this is a great place for purchasing but a terrible place to sell your things. First off the biggest problem is that the booth is $37 and then Indy takes 1/3 of your earnings on top of that. The second problem is that Thursday and Friday you're almost obligated to discount your booth dramatically so that's also cutting into profits. A lot of customers tend to only go on Thursday and Friday so its hurting the seller really. Its a great business model for the owner and that's where it really stops. I think I made a $10 profit each week for the time I was there. Alot of work with going there, stocking, restocking, pricing things already low to make maybe $1 an item at the end of everything. Not the best if you have high value items. Again great concept and great place to purchase but NOT to sell.
Edit: Responding to the owners classless and shady response. I did mean to review the Overton location. I do view it as my responsibility to give realistic expectations and this sentiment is shared along with people who have sold on here you need only do a little research. I do wish I knew more of this and that's why I view it as part of my responsibility to let other people know before they waste their time. The owner states that the sales the two days is optional but realistically no one will look at your booth or pick up items if its not on sale dramatically, I speak as a shopper and a seller on this experience it really is hurting the seller. As to the owners classless response of course he's not going to admit its not an ideal selling situation for people he has a lot riding on his business success and has no interest in individuals success as long as he gets booths sold...
Read moreI've gone a few times now and have had great experiences so far. I finally went on one of their discount days and found a few things. Luckily one of the items that I wanted was discounted! It's a great concept and not one that I've seen elsewhere. Highly recommend. You never know what you might find! The staff is also super nice and welcoming. I haven't sold there yet but soon I'll try selling.
Update: I have since sold with them twice and although I did make sales it can be pretty slow. They recommend to bring a good amount of inventory but the store is not busy and most of my sales were on the discount days. You can choose not to discount your booth but they state that if you do that “your booth may get overlooked.” My mom also set up her first booth and had a wallet she was selling stolen. When asked about it the first thing they said was if it had a security tag on but we were never offered that and didn’t know that’s was something they did because I was never told about security tags the two times I sold. I think it’s a great concept but they lack proper security to avoid theft. They’re big on empowering small businesses to sell with them but then don’t protect them from theft. I’ll still shop here but will most likely never sell...
Read moreThis is my place! I love this store so much and I am so glad it gives many different people opportunities to share different fashions and be able to reuse old clothing. I am one of the biggest fans of thrifting, and this is like a refresher to me from shopping to those big ol nasty thrift stores that aren’t very organized to this well organized, fun environment, helpful and inviting workers, and great prices. I love how each booth will have its own theme, style, and fun. Anybody type is able to find a piece of clothing here. It is quite amazing how you can find so many different style of clothes and statement pieces and just day to day clothes! There is a huge variety. I so much enjoy the changing rooms due to how spacial it is and how secure the curtains are as well. It’s also fun to go during the sales days and when they booths are refreshed. This store is my absolute favorite clothing store. I hope you reader find this...
