So tonight's customer experience left much to be desired. After sitting at the drive through for five minutes and no body answering I drove to the window where employees seemed annoyed and short to take an order. I also asked for ketchup and mustard and they put like 10 mustards and 2 ketchups seemed not caring and didn't say one word or smile. One of the corn dogs I had ordered was also burned. I frequent sonic including this location but after tonight I am boycotting sonic. I honestly am not really blaming the employees. I am blaming the business model. Sonic pays non management employees 2.13 to 4 dollars an hour because of tips. BUT they do not take tips through debit cards. In a post COVID world this is insane. If they are understaffed. I can not blame the management but I have to blame the business model because with that model you will only get high school kids desperate for a job and they are only going to stick around a week once they see the tips don't cut what other places pay. I was a general manager of a casual dining franchise group for 8 years and can see why sonics business model is horrible. When I left sonic was offering me a management position but I didn't even have a slight thought of accepting. Change the business model and you won't be under staffed and your customers will return. Staff for the level of business you want. With a slower location with that model you will never be staffed enough to have a loyal customer base. My rant is over. I only hope one day sonic changes for the better and stops with their slave labor tactic by not paying...
Read moreI went here after getting off of my college classes for something quick to eat I arrive and they have 2 cars in drive thru and i had to wait so long to get someone to talk to me in the stalls you park in. then when someone did talk to me they didn’t even great me they just asked in a demanding tone “are u in the drive thru” with a demanding tone. they also had so much attitude and no professionalism ,i said no i am in the stalls then they had me looking around for the stall # because They didn’t even know who they were talking to, Then when ordering they made me repeat myself 5 times that was just pickle fries and cheddar peppers and they couldn't even get that right. this is unbelievable. im never coming back here again i literally rather go somewhere else then here. literally rather just go cook because my experience was that bad. i truly don’t recommend anyone to go here they will make you do their job for them like clarifying if ur even in the drive thru or not and make u get frustrated repeating the order with only two items so many times they never seem to get correct
im a fast food manager and i understand some struggles of it but this was absolutely so frustrating that this situation could have been handled better. i would never make a guest do my job for me. and needless to say i would keep the environment clean and presentable

Read moreI changed my review because last Sunday night was extremely appalling!!!! I used to work at a Sonic in Denton and we were trained that customers matter and also to get orders taken and delivered promptly! We were timed from the moment the customer pushed the button until they received their order! Anyway back to present day my friend and I were starving and looking forward to quite a few delicious items! Only to leave an hour later empty handed!!!! They rudely put us on hold at first no big deal we said it is awfully busy! Well 10 mins later still no response so we pushed the button again this time even more of a rude response "I SAID HOLD ON"! Was what we heard! Well after another 5 mins finally got our order in and we watched while person after person received their food while the carhop passed us up. Finally the straw the broke the camels back. I tried to catch the carhops attention on his way in only to be straight ignored!!! I know he heard me because the people on the other side turned to my attention yet he kept on going! I don't blame all Sonics because I having been properly trained not only there but at home learning human common decency and respect! However we'll never go to that one again in fact we'll actually drive all the way to Lake Worth instead! I must say it'll be awhile before that'll happen! I mean it was shocking the way they behaved...
