We decided to try this restaurant based on the great reviews and because we were curious how hot the chicken is. We stopped in around 7:30 on a Saturday night and ordered the tenders and 1/2 rack of ribs (Texas hot) with Texas Caviar and the Sleezy Chicken. The restaurant was moderately busy, took our order immediately, and had our food ready in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant staff was friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit. The ribs were perfectly cooked, fall-off-the-bone tender, and well-seasoned—on par with what I could order at a BBQ restaurant. The Texas Hot spice level was perfectly hot for my taste, and as someone who enjoys pretty spicy food (e.g., with habanero, ghost pepper, Carolina Reaper) I decided not to opt for the AMF after speaking with our order taker about the heat level. The chicken tenders were perfectly done, well-seasoned, and nice and fresh. The Texas Caviar had a blend of corn, peppers, onions and black beans and I found it to be good. I had high hopes for the Sleezy Chicken but found that the dish was overwhelmed by the cole slaw and I was disappointed that the Mac n Cheese flavor didn’t come through. The ribs were the star of the meal. We had a great experience overall. I only gave 4 stars because the Sleezy Chicken wasn’t to the level of the rest of our experience. I look forward to trying the Chicken And Waffles on a...
Read moreNothing we had was bad... But nothing was great either. I would say it was overall slightly above mid. You won't have a terrible meal here but I wouldn't expect (as another reviewer put it) "the best ribs you've ever had"...unless you've only had ribs at like Chilis or something.
I had the 1/4 rack ribs, Mac & cheese and a house salad. My bf had the chicken tacos and fries. The ribs came pre-sauced, which personally is never a good sign. Good ribs should have a great flavor and texture without slathering it with sauce after the grill/smoker. Sauce should be optional. In this case, it was not. Several bites were very dry. I think it was due to the ribs being rather lean. Overall, they weren't bad, just very average, which was disappointing since their main 2 proteins are ribs and chicken tenders so I would expect the ribs to be at least above average.
Honestly, what I liked best about my meal was the house salad because it was crisp, fresh, simple, and they had the good ranch (if you know, you know).
We were hungry after an event at Dickies arena so we headed here for dinner before heading back towards Dallas and we were satisfied with the meal but I think we'll try some of the other local eateries in the area before we give this one another shot.
That being said, the chicken tenders did look fantastic so I would definitely give them a try if we ever make...

Our order: My husband ordered the Chicken Tenders with spicy sauce, French Fries and Cole Slaw. Although I didn’t order, I did try the Cole Slaw and wasn’t impressed. It was warm, bitter and had too much black pepper for my taste. I prefer a cold and sweeter Cole Slaw. My husband loves the Chicken Tenders, but said the French Fries aren’t the best.
This place is ALWAYS packed, so plan to circle the parking lot if you come during peak hours. There’s a bar in the center, lots of booths and tables and large screen TV’s with local sports. While they don’t have a full bar, they do offer Beer, Wine, Margaritas, Lemonade, Teas, Soft Drinks and Topo Chicos. Fun atmosphere and...
