As a former chef with a discerning palate, I can confidently say that F1 Smokehouse (by Graham Elliot restaurant group) in Fort Worth, Texas, is an absolute gem. This dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped in, the inviting aroma of smoked meats set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. The attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience was evident, from the thoughtfully curated menu to the impeccable service. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of smoked delicacies that pay homage to Texas barbecue traditions while infusing Graham Elliot's unique culinary flair. The Smoked Prime Rib was perfection, a house standout. Its smoky bark and tender, juicy interior were a testament to the skill and expertise of the kitchen. Ask for the house BBQ sauce! It's awesome! The sides were no afterthought either. Each dish showcased a thoughtful blend of flavors and textures, complementing the meats perfectly. The Celery Root Slaw was surprising, a silky indulgence. The ambiance was equally impressive. The rustic yet contemporary décor, coupled with the vibrant energy of the staff, created a warm and convivial atmosphere. It's evident that the team at F1 Smokehouse takes great pride in ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. The wine and cocktail selection were expertly curated, offering excellent pairings for the smoky flavors. The knowledgeable staff was more than happy to offer recommendations based on individual preferences. However, there were no mocktails available, which I think is a preventable inconvenience for the guest that want something besides BLWS. In summary, F1 Smokehouse is a culinary triumph, a place where passion for smoked meats and culinary innovation converge. Graham Elliot and team have undoubtedly created a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts and barbecue connoisseurs alike. It also just opened 12 days ago! So, I think it's well in the making!

We went on a Saturday at 4 PM. Not crowded, staff were all super nice and attentive - A+ for service all around. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. We got 2 margaritas (good) and a watermelon sugar (this is SUPER hot/spicy and I love heat) but I couldn't drink it and a Baja Lemonade (I liked it, but the person who ordered it didn't care for it). For appetizers we got the brisket queso and smoked guacamole. Both were very good! I couldn't taste the smoke in the guac but it was good anyway. For meals, we got a brisket cheesesteak, F1 Cuban panini, loaded potato, and the classic Texas brisket w truffle potato salad. Everyone loved theirs except the baked potato - only because the ranch seemed sour (we didn't say anything because she got a separate meal for later and didn't care) but the other meals were incredible. For dessert we got the cobbler (he loved it) and brulee banana pudding. I wish restaurants actually cooked banana pudding w/ condensed milk, etc., but they all just do instant and whipped cream and that's just bland. The toppings are just crushed cookies, not brulee (that's the banana). I still give it five stars overall because the food was great for the most part, service excellent, and we left happy and would go again.

I ordered Texas cheesesteak and substituted the fries with charred broccolini. Hands down the broccolini was the suprise star of my order. Maybe it was just me but the combination of sour, light oil and char was more impressive to my taste buds than the brisket cheesesteak. PLEASE don't change the recipe and don't stop serving this item. I will be back here just for the broccolini! The Texas cheesesteak was good but being a Philly cheesesteak fan I was expecting way more peppers and onions to be considered a cheesesteak. The sandwich was mainly brisket (which was tasty) but I was expecting more green peppers and onions to be honest. There were other brisket items on the menu but I didn't order them because I wasn't feeling like brisket today. I miss the classic cheesesteak flavors. FYI: I also ordered the whiskey sour and slow and low. Both drinks were good. I would order the low and slow over the whiskey sour (only because I like my drinks to be tart). The cherries in the whiskey sour were delicious though!

~ Okay. Iiiii am a FAT GIRL w/a VERY GOOD PALLET. Don't care HOW famous the Chef is or how CUTE he is (&BOTH Graham Elliot& Felipe Armenta are friggin ADORABLE!!)

StiLL. If the food is BAD, I'M GONNA TELL YA.

THIS FOOD was ANYTHING BUT BAD.

My friends, Harriet& Paul Harral& I went there to celebrate Paul's& .my birthdays.

The restaurant itself is bright& beautiful with quirky colors, seating& artwork.

The staff was very personable& attentive.

(Paul& I each write a note saying how good our waitress, Nevaeh was on our receipt :)

The patio was absolutely GORGEOUS!! With beautiful, bright pink flowers FLOWING down wall& planters with fresh herbs all around.....

It SMELLED beautiful, too....

The drinks were DELICIOUS!!

LOVed the bartenders OUTFITS!!

SO. CUTE.

Okay. The FOOD. So we all did a share: 3 appetizers, 2 entrees& 2 desserts.

ALL the portions were large enough for 3 to share.

The plating was BEAUTIFUL. Nothing 'extra' like 'silly' garnishes..... All was edible.

For appetizers, we had the Fully Loaded Tots w/Crispy Bacon ($9) the Pepper Jack Queso Dip w/Beef Brisket ($10) &The Mexican Shrimp-Avocado Cocktail w/Tomato Sauce

OHHHHHH. MY. GOSH.

They were ALL delicious. We 'fought' over the tots.... LoL ") They were THAT. GOOD.

I am ADDICTED already!!

The Queso was perfectly seasoned& smooth& the chips were nice& crisp.

The Shrimp Cocktail was amazing. The tomato juice was tart& savory. The shrimp was plump& abundant, the avocado was YUMMy.

For our mains, we shared the Chopped Brisket Melt w/Caramelized Onions& Aged Cheddar& the baby BACK Duroc Pork Ribs w/Celery Root Slaw.

The Melt was PERFECT.

The brisket was smoked very well. The cheese was of good quality& the slaw was very, very good.

Okay. The RIBS.

Oh my goodness.

Ever eat deliciously smoked AIR?? Well these ribe were so LIGHT& OOOOHHHHH. SOOOOOO. GOOOOO:D

BEST RIBS Iiiiii have EVER. HAD.& Iiiii am a life-long Texan& am FAT. &Iiiiii LOVe food.

&Iiiiiii wanna MARRY these RIBS. YES. THAT. GOOD.

Okay!! For DESSERT. We had BOTH!! With TWO scoops of ice cream!! The Mixed Berry Cobbler A La Mode& the Southern Style Layered Banana Pudding.

(Now Graham, your making RIBS..... in TEXAS. &Cobbler& Banana Pudding??!!)

YOU'VE GOT BIG UNS, kid!!

&MAN. YA DID IT!!

YA KNOCKED IT OUTA THA PARK, Buddy!!

LIke the RANGERS on a good night. (PRAY. We have many MORE??)

The Cobbler was the best I've EVER. HAD. BAR NONE. The ice cream wasn't Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla, but it was DELICIOUS!!

The Banana Pudding was classic, straight-forward& JUST. GOOD. PERIOD.

Not too sweet. But just right. The cookies were crisp& the bananas were FRESH. The pudding was very good.

Thank you for coming to Texas, Graham. You good is AMAZe-BALLS.

Nevaeh served us very well& Iiiiiii will be BACK!! Congrats& BIG (((HUGS)))...

Dining at F1 Smokehouse is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm, rustic ambiance set the tone for what would be one of the best barbecue meals I’ve ever had. The aroma of slow-smoked meats filled the air, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff made me feel welcome right away.

I ordered the Blue Plate with brisket and a side of Elote, and both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The brisket was tender, juicy, and packed with deep smoky flavor. It had a perfectly seasoned bark that provided a rich, peppery contrast to the melt-in-your-mouth meat. Every bite was an explosion of buttery, beefy goodness, with just the right balance of fat and lean meat. It’s clear that the pitmasters at F1 Smokehouse take immense pride in their craft—this was brisket done right.

The sides were just as impressive. The mac & cheese was luxuriously creamy, with a rich, velvety cheese sauce that coated every bite of pasta. It had just the right balance of cheesiness and comfort, making it the perfect complement to the brisket.

Then came the Elote, and it completely stole the show. The grilled corn on the cob was charred to perfection, bringing out its natural sweetness. It was generously slathered in a creamy, tangy sauce, topped with cotija cheese, a sprinkle of chili powder, and fresh lime zest. The result was an incredible balance of smoky, sweet, salty, and spicy flavors that made every bite irresistible. I could have easily eaten two or three more servings—it was that good.

For dessert, I couldn’t resist trying their banana pudding, which was a delightful, nostalgic treat. The layers of vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and crisp vanilla wafers were the perfect combination of creamy and crunchy, making for a satisfying and comforting end to my meal.

F1 Smokehouse is, without a doubt, one of the best barbecue spots I’ve ever visited. Every element of my meal—from the expertly smoked meats to the perfectly executed side dishes and warm hospitality—was absolutely flawless. If you’re looking for authentic Texas barbecue with a gourmet touch, this is the place to be. I left completely satisfied and already planning my next visit.

⭐ 5/5 Stars—Highly...

Update: Ordered the Blue Plate special to go and was pleased to see and taste that the food was perfectly seasoned. This plate included a variety of meat options and each one was great especially the brisket and sausage. The brisket was melt in your mouth and the sausage had jalapeños and cheese which made it moist and flavorful . We also ordered the elote and it was so delicious. So happy that the food was amazing and can’t wait to come back and try it again in house!

I hate to leave a less than stellar review because I really like the ambience and service we received at F1, but I also find that feedback is crucial for the success of a restaurant. We loved the decor and we were greeted by a friendly hostess. We were slightly disappointed by the lack of beer options but the main issue was the amount of salt that was on the rim of my glass. It was impossible to drink the beer with that quantity of salt, I had to scrape off 80%of it. We ordered deviled eggs and wings as appetizers. The eggs were exceptional and although the wings had a good flavor they were overly salted and so we couldn’t finish them. The special yesterday evening was the beef ribs and I was eager to try them because they are my favorite type of rib. Unfortunately, they were so dry and overly salted that they were inedible. It was like I was eating a jerky and not a rib, so disappointed. My friend ordered a hamburger and fries and both were salted more than necessary. It was odd to have most of our food salted excessively and we are not sensitive to salt or on a low salt diet for reference . I’ve eaten at F1 before and had a very good experience with the food and service so I wanted to bring my friend there who was visiting from out of town. Please take this as constructive criticism because we definitely would like to go back and try other items on the menu. Also, think about adding more beer options to your bar menu, as it is a Smokehouse and we are in cowtown and pouring it in a normal beer pint so the entire bottled beer...
