Being an avid supporter of local businesses, my friend and I went into Inti Poki bowl, on West 7th, to have dinner, and try it out. The gentleman on the other side of the bar was very friendly and very helpful, and gave us a taste of all the different sauces they had available. Then we each built our own Poké bowl with a wonderful selection in front of us. They were all sorts of rice options, meat options, and vegetables available, topped off by a wonderful selection of sauces. I recently had a disappointing experience at Inti Poke, a takeout spot I’d been looking forward to trying. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. When I arrived, the server, “Jennifer,” looked like she might’ve been having a rough day, but that didn’t justify how she treated me. As I was asking her questions about the menu, she seemed distracted and impatient, as though my questions were a bother. To make matters worse, she was on the phone during our interaction, which made me feel ignored and undervalued as a customer.
