The atmosphere was dead when I walked in given it was a Sunday, I had originally went when it was lively that same night but was made a aware my license was expired. No issue bc I went to go grab my passport and returned afterwards,
There was a different doorman this time which revised my passport. After the pat down I was let in with no issue I walked around for a bit and moments later the original door guy had told The second door guy who let me in (and revised my passport, plus pat down) tell me to leave, Seemed to me that it was a rude and petty power trip by the first doorman because I was let in without issue with my passport. The place was dead at the time but it seemed like to good place to buy a beer or two. Unfortunately my money was not spent there nor will it be in the foreseeable future due to the unprofessional handling of the situation with zero understanding or courtesy, considering I had to go out of my way to get my passport to comeback...
Read moreWent last night with my HUSBAND, and his friend. I’m 20, so obviously I was NOT drinking I was the DD. I walked up to the bar to order a coke under my husbands tab. They asked for my ID and ofc I hand it to him. He tells me I’m under 21 and cannot be in here granted we get there at about 7. My knowledge is that most bars do the 21+ after a certain time, the bartender proceeds to tell me I need to leave. So we go outside on the patio I’m waiting for my husband to finish his beer, another guy comes out telling me to leave and I respond “ I’m waiting for my husband to finish his beer then we are leaving” he basically told me he didn’t care and told me I had to leave. First of all, you have NO SIGNS that say 21+ Second of all to my knowledge, I’m allowed to be with my HUSBAND, regardless of where we are. Probably won’t be coming back the service isn’t the best and the bartenders don’t even work they flirt with any walking thing...
Read moreI was expecting more of a craft beer selection, but they really have nothing decent in bottles and cans, just the usual suspects. On draught things get a little better but not much. Locally, all I saw was Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde, Shiner Bock, Shiner Light (ugh), Shiner Ruby Red, Revolver Blood and Honey Shiner Desert Mirage Hazy and Community Lemon Tart. Six bucks for a glass of Desert Mirage isn't bad, but I think next time I'll go somewhere with a better selection. I'm not a fan of Shiner brews except the TexHex series (of which the Desert Mirage is one) but most of these beers are mediocre at best. Shayley was nice though, but overall not worth dealing with the...
